New Horizon Academy

My son loves this place and as a parent I have son with separation anxiety, my son has had nothing but a great time here, also a lot of improvement over his speech and knowledge! The staff and teachers here are all amazing people it is a very welcoming place! Thank you to everyone at New Horizon in Sartell

We had a very disappointing experience with new Horizon Academy. Before enrolling, we were extremely upfront about our child having ADHD and spent a lot of time speaking with Lori. We were repeatedly assured that the staff had the tools, experience, and patience to support him. After one single day, we were told that if our child wasn’t essentially “perfect,” he would be removed within two weeks. That was shocking and heartbreaking to hear, especially after all the prior assurances. It quickly became clear that Horizon Academy is not equipped—or willing—to support children who need even minimal accommodations. The attitude toward our child was overwhelmingly negative, and the situation was handled with little empathy or professionalism. Rather than partnering with us to help our child succeed, the focus felt more like maintaining an “easy” environment and protecting profits instead of providing inclusive, supportive childcare. If your child has ADHD or any behavioral or developmental needs, I would strongly caution against enrolling here. We are extremely disappointed in how this was handled and in the lack of follow-through on the promises that were made.

An amazing center, full of love for all of the kiddos. Recently moved back to the area and transition was difficult, but with the help of the amazing staff at the center drop off has became an easier routine for this mommy. We absolutely love this center. My little 3 year old boy, and 1 year old girl have learned so much and are excited to go to daycare in the mornings. Always smiling. Thank you for allowing you guys do 🙂

My 14 month old daughter has been in the infant room at NH in Sartell for about 8 months now and I only have positive words for this environment. She claps when she sees the building and hugs the staff when she sees them. All the staff are so welcoming, personable, and friendly. I feel comfortable bringing my daughter there and I have recommended NH to many of my colleagues that are new parents.
