New Horizon Academy

Our family has had such a wonderful experience at New Horizon Academy. My daughter attended school there, and now my 5-month-old son is enrolled as well. The staff is absolutely amazing… caring, attentive, and truly dedicated to each child's growth and well being. One of the best feelings as a parent is knowing your children are safe, loved, and cared for when you drop them off each day. At New Horizon Academy, I have complete peace of mind knowing my kids are not only safe but also learning and developing so much every day!

We have had such a great experience from infant room to toddler room so far. Our toddler has made friends and the teachers provide great support and care to our child. Everyone cares deeply for their work and it shows in their daily interactions with us and other families. We love New Horizons!

We love New Horizon! Our youngest of four attends the Oak Park Heights location. This is our first experience at a franchise daycare and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Everyone is on a first name basis - the communication is great, classroom instruction is organized and engaging, staff is welcoming and cheerful, and our kid is happy there! The hours of operations are very conducive for career fields that begin early too - a huge plus! We highly recommend New Horizon!

Both of our kids started at New Horizon in Toddler 1 and are now in Pre-K, and we’ve had such a great experience the whole way through. All of the teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the kids. We always felt like our children were in good hands, and it gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing there wasn’t constant turnover or a stream of new, inexperienced teachers. There are also so many fun extras that make it special, like the Christmas pageant, summer bounce houses, and water days (which our kids absolutely love). The monthly themes are a great touch too. It’s been fun seeing what they learn each month, although I think the sports-themed month might still be their favorite. As working parents, we’ve also really appreciated how supportive the teachers and staff are. If we ever forgot something or ran into an issue, they were always quick to help and work through it with us. We’re very grateful for the care and attention they’ve given our kids over the years.

As a teacher myself, I hold early childhood education to a very high standard — and New Horizon Academy has exceeded every expectation. Choosing a daycare for my own two children was not a decision I took lightly, and I can honestly say this is exactly the kind of place every parent hopes to find.
