New Horizon Academy

My son has loved every moment at this location. We are moving homes so sadly have to switch locations. I can't say enough how much these teachers and staff have helped my son grow and flourish. Speedy and clear communication 👌 his teachers Ms Mariko and Ms Cynthia have a spectacular curriculum and even have tought him some Japanese! They are attentive and very caring ❤️

Bianca was so ghetto and unwelcoming to my child. Every time she saw us approaching she walked away. Megan tried to cover up her and the staffs actions toward my child who was having trouble adjusting to the class schedule, making new friends and overall just being away from her mother’s care. Living in a new state and enrolling into a new school was so hard for my daughter. The adults in the situation treated her unfairly and that broke my heart as a parent. I trusted my child to attend this location due to have a different experience within the same company just a different location in St. Paul. I had trouble there also. I started to question the training and credentials of the staff and Megan rudely emailed me saying that her staff was not trained to tailor their daily activities based on my daughter’s “conditioning”. She said that because my daughter did not do well on her first attempt at a child care screening. She suggested my child had a disability which doctors prove she did not as they conducted their very own screening like professionals do!! I considered suing these people for unfair treatment while my child was in their care because Bianca complained about her every single day. She seemed to have been bad mouthing my child to the point my daughter was scared and sad to be dropped off to this location. I started to recognize that my child became a different person due to the fact she was misunderstood and treated poorly BY BIANCA! She had no connection to my child and the only time she made contact with me was to complain about my daughter whom I love dearly. I think as a mother she failed to realize how she would feel if her kids teacher only reached out with negative reviews about her TODDLER BABY is who allowed to make mistakes. I’m sure my child felt Bianca didn’t like her because she cried to me about it. As I was about to remove her from this location I gently approached Bianca BY PROCARE APP that I felt she was bullying my daughter. Sophia another staff seemingly agreed when I reported it. Megan sent me a email saying she was going to disenroll my daughter instead of bringing leadership to the situation instead of bringing more harm to the child by taking her away from the only friends she made since we moved to Minnesota. It really disheartened my child to be treated that way and she was very discouraged to start another daycare again. I asked the director at this location who is Megan for corporates or her managers number she lied and told me she didn’t know who to contact. She never gave me a corporate number to call so that I can get them involved or anything. Things started off great in all honesty but when I recognized how my child was treated AT A SECOND LOCATION I chose to disassociate from the new horizon company entirely. Be careful enrolling your kid here!!!!!!!

The staff at NH Downtown East is a warm and welcoming community. They all knew, loved, and supported our son. We are so very thankful for the time he spent there, and the excellent care he received from each and every person at NH. We will miss the staff and be forever grateful for the care he received.

I feel so lucky to have my son go to daycare here. It's the best decision I have ever made. The staff is so welcoming and kind. The level of care and consideration they have for my son is amazing. The teachers have gone out of their way to have my son feel welcomed and loved. He is learning so much and bringing that knowledge back into our home. He has grown more within the month of him being here than he has in the past year with his previous daycare. This New Horizon has set the bar for childcare, and I now expect nothing less for him. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

My children feel at home here. It truly about the teachers. It is very apparent the teachers love what they do and they love my children. Meghan and Sue have a seamless enrollment process. They are always there and willing to help. I’m so happy at this academy.
