  • We have 2 kiddos here and I love it. The best part is the caring staff that connects with the kids and can act as a good role model at the same time. There are some hidden perks to this location also. When there is bad weather the kids get to go on organized walks through the halls of the office building and sky way over the road. This is great when it’s too hot, too cold, bad air quality, raining, blizzard… normal MN weather that happens. Also, pick up and drop off is in the parking ramp so it’s cover parking and your not worried precipitation. The playground is heavily shaded so the kids don’t play in the intense sun. But best of all is the curriculum. I am always amazed at what they are teaching kids so young and helping them develop. We love it here.

  • I highly recommend New Horizon Academy! The staff and directors are wonderful and truly care about the children. They take the time to get to know each child and adjust to their individual needs. I especially love how engaging they are with the students and how they create a safe, welcoming environment, especially for children who are new to the program. Starting daycare can be a big transition, but the teachers made sure my daughter felt comfortable and supported from the very beginning. My daughter has been attending for about two months now, and I am amazed by how much she has already learned. It is clear that the staff are dedicated to helping children grow, learn, and thrive every day. We are so grateful for the care, attention, and education she receives at New Horizon Academy.

  • My experience at New Horizon Academy Normandale - Bloomington - has always been wonderful. It is a smaller, more intimate center, which I especially appreciate, and the playground is beautifully nestled in nature. The center director, assistant directors, and teachers are kind, helpful, and professional, and it is clear they truly adore working with children. Every time I visit, the children are happily engaged in learning and play. I highly recommend this childcare center to parents looking for a warm, nurturing environment where their child will feel safe, loved, and excited to learn every day.

  • New Horizon Normandale Towers is an excellent choice for families seeking a nurturing environment for their children. The smaller school setting fosters strong, meaningful connections between students and staff. The director, Kristina, and assistant director, Angel, are both highly supportive and consistently willing to step in and assist when needed. Communication from the staff is clear, effective, and compassionate. Overall, this center provides a positive and welcoming experience—I was truly saddened to leave and would highly recommend it to other families.

  • Finding the right daycare for your kids isn’t easy, especially with a toddler and a baby, but our experience with New Horizon Daycare at Normandale Towers in Bloomington has been incredibly positive. My sons (ages 3 and 1) both attend, and the level of care they receive gives me real peace of mind. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child. My 3-year-old has been learning so much and comes home excited to talk about his day, while my 1-year-old is cared for with so much patience and love, it’s clear they understand the different needs at each stage. Communication has been consistent and reassuring. I always feel informed about how their day went through the parent teacher app, and the teachers are approachable and easy to talk to. The environment is clean, structured, and welcoming, which makes drop-offs and pick-ups smoother for both me and the kids. It’s such a relief knowing my boys are in a safe, nurturing space where they’re not only cared for, but also encouraged to grow and explore. I’m really grateful we found this center so close to home.

  • We have absolutely been loving having our kiddos at NHA (8400 Tower in Bloomington). Our first had been there from 6 mo - 4 yrs and he's thriving! Our second is going from infant room to toddler room now and doing fantastic. The teachers and programs are fantastic. They truly care about our kids and their development, they know their special interests and personalities. Because it's a smaller day care they get all the attention they need, and have always been able to help out when we needed some extra consideration. I recommend this daycare to everyone I know who is going to/ has new babes!
