New Horizon Academy

ZERO STARS!! I would strongly caution parents before enrolling their children at New Horizon School. My 3 year old son attended for only one month, and during that time I personally witnessed extremely aggressive behavior from a teacher named Mr. Aryus alongside the director, Kari. While outside on the playground, my son wanted to play tag. The teacher became visibly angry and began yelling at him. I then witnessed the teacher aggressively grab my son by one arm, lifting him off the ground while my child cried and pleaded, “Please don’t hurt me.” Even after realizing the director was watching, the teacher did not calm down. After the incident, I requested documentation and an incident report, but was told they could not provide one because my son was not physically injured. I was also told they no longer had access to the camera footage. Since this happened, my son has been fearful about going to school and no longer feels safe in that environment. There were also multiple occasions where my child came home with bruises and extremely dirty clothing. I also witnessed children putting mouthfuls of dirt in their mouths, and concerns about supervision did not seem to be taken seriously. As a parent, this experience was deeply upsetting and heartbreaking. Based on what I personally witnessed, I would strongly encourage parents to seriously reconsider enrolling their children here and to remove their child immediately if they feel their child’s safety or wellbeing is being compromised.

My wife and I were very pleased with our meeting today, with the coordinator. We absolutely love service and care that will be provided for our 2 children. As soon as you walk in, you can literally feel the warmth and compassion coming from the staff and even from the little kids in class. We had a very in depth tour of the facility and actually got to meet some of the staff briefly. Our kiddos will be starting Monday and we are very excited to be apart of the New Horizon family.

Just overall a beautiful school in general we just had a tour and me and my family absolutely loved it. Staff were amazing. Everything was clean. Very organized. Put together. Babies were happy classrooms were quiet. Everything feels right. I’m happy to start my kiddos.

This daycare for my son has been by far the best daycare experience from the moment I met Carri and Grace they’ve been nothing but helpful. My son Enjoys playing with his friends he is way far more engaged and I absolutely appreciate the mail teachers that are in the center. They make a big difference in their interactions. 10 out of 10 for sure would recommend. My son is always excited to go to daycare even when we leave daycare. He’s like I wanna go to daycare. It makes my day that he enjoys spending time with other kids and having fun away from home. Really appreciate them !

My children have been going to this center for about 3 years now. It has been such a wonderful experience. Mrs. Kari and Mrs. Grace are absolutely amazing and very understanding. I highly recommend this center. Every staff member has been wonderful. I am extremely grateful to leave my kids in their care.
