New Horizon Academy

Our family has always had consistently wonderful experiences at New Horizon Academy in Blaine. All of the teachers there are top notch, especially Abby and Andrea! They care so deeply for all of the kids and have really fostered their social, emotional, and physical development. Our kids have experienced a really engaging curriculum and the teachers get really creative with it. We know that our kids are having a great experience because of how much they love both the teachers and all of their classmate friends as well.

New Horizon in Blaine is a fantastic place with wonderful teachers! My daughter has been going there for almost 4 years. She has learned so much and has grown in leaps and bounds both intellectually and socially/emotionally. My girl has always been on the quiet and shy side. She has trouble with a lot of noise and chaos. Her teachers have been so supportive of her and I’ve seen her develop so much more confidence! Some of our favorite teachers have been Ms. Hillary, Ms. Amber, Ms. Abby, Ms. Destiny, Ms. Nessa, Mr. Grant, Ms. Bridgit, and Ms. Glennda. But I have honestly been impressed by all of the teachers. I also think that Cheryl and Cassie do a wonderful job managing things and they have always been amazing about addressing any questions or concerns that I’ve had throughout the years. I can’t tell you how much comfort it brings me to know that everyone at New Horizon loves my daughter and will make sure that she is supported and taken care of while I’m at work. I am honestly sad thinking about leaving when my daughter starts kindergarten in the fall. Thank you all for all that you do!! We love you!

Our daughter is going on 4 and has been going to Blaine NHA since she was just 4 months old. We are so happy that we started here with her right away. We love bringing her here, and she loves going. She comes home having learned/practiced new skills and telling us about her fun day. It's wonderful knowing that where she is spending the day she is safe and thriving. It's always sad leaving from one classroom with teachers that she loves to a new classroom. But that feeling is short lived because she quickly learns to love her new classroom, classmates, and teachers. Thank you so much for everything!

I love the tenure of staff at the Blaine location. The teachers and director Cheryl and Cassie make an effort to know my family. We have a second child attending now and it’s nice to see the same friendly faces. My child is understood and his needs are met based on where he is at. In his current room, Michelle and Kinsley are patient and understanding. We have seen his speech improve greatly. Amber and Amanda are helpful in preparing him for what is next. It’s exciting to see all of the new things they are learning. The effort that goes into the curriculum planning is evident in how much my child is learning and how well prepared my older child was for kindergarten.

Our daughter has attended New Horizon since she was an infant and it was truly the best choice we could have made. Since she started, all of the teachers have been absolutely fabulous. Now that she is in one of the older rooms, we are so pleased with all of the things she’s learning and all of the activities she gets to participate in. Amber and Elisse do an AMAZING job of coming up with fun, creative and stimulating activities for the kids. They are so patient and kind. She truly loves going to “school” everyday. It’s amazing the things she is learning. I feel confident that not only is she taken care of physically but also emotionally. We love getting updates and pictures throughout the day and they work hard to keep the kids on a schedule. She has thrived with New Horizon and we couldn’t be happier.
