  • Would NEVER send my child there. I saw the director pushing my child when i was leaving because he was sad and pulling on the door knob trying to get to me. He was about 2yo. She told me She was pushing him because she was worried he was going to break her door knob but again he was two, and there are better ways to deal with that then to push a child several times where they almost fall over (hugs, comfort). The staff also speak to the kids really poorly. I overheard them speaking to my son in really negative ways when again, there are better ways to speak to children.

  • I am sharing this review after nine months of experience with our child at Peter Pan Preschool. The center is clean and has potential, but several serious issues emerged that caused us concern. Our child entered the preschool at age two, following major household transitions and moving from a previous daycare where he had attended since infancy. He displayed expected adjustment behaviors across both households and at daycare. Both parents met with staff and leadership multiple times to develop a support plan. We took their suggestions seriously and offered insight based on what worked well at home. We then saw significant improvements at both parents’ homes. Despite this progress at home, his behavior at daycare continued to deteriorate. We received two “observation” reports filled with tone and descriptions that failed to consider his developmental stage. Instead, staff treated our child as a problem, not as a young child navigating change. On at least two occasions, he was sent home within an hour of drop-off, with no prior concerns communicated the entire week. He was ultimately expelled without warning. On the last morning, the director merely asked if we could pick him up early “just in case” upon drop off. Less than two hours later, I received a call requesting an immediate pick-up. The other parent received official notice of expulsion 5 minutes later, after the director hung up with me. Upon arrival, I was escorted out with all his belongings packed in plastic bags. No major explanation, no meeting, no debrief followed. Within an hour of expelling him, the director sent a brief email and removed both parents from the school app, locking us out from accessing prior messages or reports. Thankfully, we had secured a temporary placement an hour after he was expelled, and on the first week, teachers there reported his behavior was calm, well regulated, age-appropriate, and responsive to redirection. It’s not that he didn’t have struggles all week, because he did. Age appreciate struggles that were handled and managed efficiently. My professional and personal conclusion is that the problem was not the facility or teachers itself but the leadership. The current management lacks developmentally responsive, trauma-informed care, and consistent, transparent communication. Until new leadership is in place, I cannot recommend this preschool to other families.

  • Excellent quality of care! Facilities are very clean and staff is always on top of keeping rooms organized and child-friendly. The owner is onsite and works tirelessly to operate the best childcare center. Their hearts are in it!

  • Wouldn't recommend. Management does not communicate with parents (both) very well. Management makes last minute decisions with zero notice to make adjustments, does not express concerns in a timely matter. But also if you feel as though you're to old yo do something maybe it's time to either throw in the towel or retire.

  • So thankful we found this center for our son! Their communication through technology, pictures and in person makes us feel like we didn't miss a beat. The loving and caring staff are impeccable! Highly recommend this center!!
