  • I toured about 6 daycares feeling so worried about picking the right place for my 5 month old baby. I instantly felt at ease after touring Primrose. The staff seemed happy and greeted me warmly in the infant room. Now that he is there, whenever we drop off or pick up our son every staff member has been warm and genuinely interested in getting to know us and our family dynamics. Communication is easy through the app. Prices are reasonable compared to some of the other centers in the area. The center is SO CLEAN. In many of the pictures I get through the app my little guy is smiling!! We have to leave because we are moving, and I am quite sad about trying to find a daycare as great as this one. Thank you guys!

  • We’ve been a Primrose family for years and currently have two kids enrolled (with a third soon to join!), and overall we’ve truly loved our experience at Primrose. Like any daycare, there are some challenges, but what has kept us here long-term is the consistency, care, and professionalism we’ve experienced. The teachers are fairly professional across the board, and we’ve been especially impressed in some of the older classrooms as our kids have grown. You can tell there’s thoughtful structure and genuine care behind what they do. While turnover at daycares is inevitable, there are many teachers who have worked at the school for 5+ years. The front desk and admin team are responsive and communicative whenever we have questions or needs. Above all else, the school is clean and takes safety seriously.

  • Based on my personal experience, I have serious concerns about safety and responsibility at this school. My 3-year-old child attended this school for about 5 months. This was the second time my child came home with an injury in a very private area. The first time was a small bruise with no clear explanation. The second time was more serious, involving a large fingernail injury that broke the skin in the same area. I was not notified of either incident until I discovered the injuries myself. Aside from an apology, there was no clear follow-up or accountability, which felt very irresponsible to me as a parent. Because of these repeated incidents, I decided not to continue sending my child to this school and would not recommend it to other families. ** I want to clarify my experience after reading the school’s public response. On January 29, 2026, I brought my child back to the school so the Director could see an injury. I was asked to allow one day for an investigation, and I agreed. When the Director followed up, I was told the injury “could have” happened while my child was playing with another child, but it was not confirmed. After this conversation, I felt there was a serious lack of responsibility, as my child had been injured twice in a sensitive area and I was not notified on either occasion. Because of this, I decided on January 30, 2026 that I no longer felt it was safe to continue sending my child to this school. To clarify, I decided to withdraw my child after the school communicated with me, not before. I am only sharing my personal experience, and I will continue to respond if inaccurate or misleading information is shared I am sharing only my personal experience and hope the school reviews its procedures to better ensure children’s safety.

  • We've loved the 4+ years at Primrose in Merriam Park, Saint Paul. The staff members are diligent and responsive. And the teachers are loving, engaging, and in tune with our kiddo's developments. Would recommend to anyone who needs a nurturing environment for their little ones.

  • We love the teachers more than anything else. They're genuinely excited to see our daughter every day, and knowing that makes it easier for us to leave her for work. The daycare is expensive but worth it. As mentioned the care takers are excellent (and many have been with Primrose for years), the updates through the app are adorable, the communication is good, the food is good, and the activities the kids are doing seem great. But what makes it for us is the staff.

  • Primrose has been wonderful for our family from age 1-5! The management and every single teacher we've ever had have been fabulous. I have felt like my children are learning so much and will be super prepared for kindergarten. Teacher turnaround is low, which says a lot about what a great place to work it is! The family events and opportunities that are offered - as well as the flexible hours and healthy prepared meals and snacks - make it a clear choice when looking at other preschools.
