  • A co op sounds like a good idea until you realize you have people in charge of an educational business with no background in education or business. We were there for a year and the tuition was raised multiple times because the school was running out of money every quarter with no explanation of where the money was going. They cut out every expense they could and even reduced hours and still were asking grandparents of kids to donate money. Staff turnaround was constant due to poor management to the point there were new teachers every couple weeks. While there is a lack of day care options in the city it would be best not to get stuck in this one when there are better options for your kids education and your schedule that are less money, with more hours, provide food and don’t require you to donate your time and extra money.
