Our son has been going to Sonshine since I went back to work when he was around 4 months old. This was so difficult for me. I didn’t know how hard it would be for me, until I started to near the end of my maternity leave and was approaching heading back to work. When I think back at that time, I think about how easy everyone at Sonshine made the transition. They would tell me how my son did each day at pickup and send us pictures here and there to let us know that he was thriving. Fast forward two years, I have loved watching him blossom into the young, smart, social boy he is today. I owe a lot for that to Sonshine and the teachers who have given him so much love. He has become so well rounded. He doesn’t shy away from meeting new people or socializing with other kids. He is goofy and talks about his friends from Sonshine when he is at home. Everyday when we pick up, he’s happy and it reassures me that he truly loves going to “school”. We highly recommend Sonshine to any parent looking for a small, close knit and personal experiencing from their daycare. Our second son was born a month ago and we will be sending him to Sonshine here in the fall and I feel so much more confident sending him knowing how much our oldest has thrived. Thankful for the teachers and staff at Sonshine for such a positive experience!

Kevin MulleeJun 1, 2026I have been taking both my kids to Sonshine for almost 6 years and we just adore it. We love how dedicated the staff is to the kids and families. We have been working with the same group of teachers and owner the entire time and they are like an extension of our family. Especially during turbulent times like COVID this Daycare was (and still remains) the most dependable and caring group of individuals. We also love that it's next to a Nature Center that the kids get to frequent by going on nature walks and they even get it experience it everyday when they play at SonShine's outdoor playgrounds. Inside there are beautiful hand painted murals across the walls and gym and handmade bulliten boards that they decorate seasonally with the kids name's and their art. It's wonderful to be supporting a local small business in our community. I would highly recommed that you bring your kids here!
