STARS Early Learning Academy

Highly recommend STARS! Maybe I am a little biased because I work there, but let me give you the inside scoop. Micayla, our director, is top notch. She works many hours a week making sure that STARS is always staffed to licensing standards, the center is clean, staff get their breaks, and any staff or parent questions get answered in a timely and professional manner. I feel very supported and valued. Even Dr. Lynn Peterson, the founder, and Director at Cologne Academy, pops in frequently to check on things (and snuggle babies) and brings a positive energy to the center. I have also had my son in PreK since opening and we have had a very positive experience. Staff have been kind, gentle, and seek further education. I have also enjoyed their Core Knowledge Curriculum and what my son has come home learning. We have had some days with significant extra needs for our son, and staff have ALWAYS been kind and gentle with him as they teach and guide, as well as meeting with us and seeking outside support to train teachers in developmentally appropriate strategies in running the class successfully and how to approach different types of situations that may arise in a classroom setting. As a parent, I feel supported and valued. Highly recommend! Bonus points: love the app that is updated daily and the coffee shop connected to the building ;)

Stars has been the perfect fit for our two young girls. The facility itself is phenomenal! Always super clean, new toys, books, and resources. Classrooms are all big and bright - complete with small sinks/toilets for the waddler/toddler group learning to potty train. I could go on for days on how well the staff treat our girls. We could not feel more safe dropping our girls off, and know that they are always well cared for both emotionally and physically. Communication is second to none, with constant updates and photos throughout the day highlighting what are kids are up to. If you are looking for child care services in the area - look no further :)

Stars Early Learning Academy is absolutely wonderful! The staff is so amazing with the children! Their curriculum is fantastic, the children are learning while they play, incorporating math, reading, arts and crafts, as well as helping them learn basic social skills! Enrolling my son at Stars is one of the best choices I have ever made.
