Stepping Stones Early Learning Center

We have absolutely loved our time at Stepping Stones. My son started when he was 4 months old and the staff have been so welcoming. As a first time parent, I was anxious about sending my son to daycare but Stepping Stones has made the transition smooth and we are so grateful. We love getting updates with fun pictures that Stepping Stones sends throughout the day. Of note, we toured a fair number of daycare centers in the area recommended by neighbors that were fine but didn't quite feel like the right place for us. As we were driving from a different daycare tour, we stumbled upon Stepping Stones. We called them asking if we could set up a tour and they were very accommodating and let us tour the same day. Within the first few minutes of the tour we knew that this was the right place to send our son. It felt like home and everyone we met was so friendly.

We have been at Stepping Stones the last 6+ years and have had a great experience. We have had multiple kids go through the program starting in the infant room all the way through the Kindergarten Readiness room. We have loved all our time there including the summer program and field trips!

We love the quality of Stepping Stones! The teachers really care and put extra effort into our child. It's great that they provide nutritious, made on site food - sometimes from their own garden! We also love that SS provides extra activities, photos, and updates. We're very, very happy with our choice.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is nothing more than a baby sitting facility that only half cares about your children. My daughter was there for a year and there started to be biting incidents that we had to sign a form for the day of, but when my child pushed open an emergency door and got into the parking lot, I was not told until the following Monday in passing when the incident happened on the previous Wednesday. Kelsey, the director, told me they put a stop sign on the door to prevent this from occurring in the future. Quite a joke. They are not at all implementing the curriculum they report. They CONSISTENTLY put my daughter’s diapers on too tight, even after asking several times not to. She had feces left on her even after her diaper was changed. When walking into the center, my husband and I would be ignored by Kelsey and Maddie, the directors. There were ants in the classroom. My daughter had consistent ear infections for the entire year until we removed her. I highly recommend to not send your children here and instead go to Milestones. They are a great new facility with caring teachers that actually teach.

We have been with Stepping Stones since August, 2019. We have really appreciated the care, compassion, and instruction that the amazing teachers have provided to our children over the years. The class sizes are small, the learning environment is clean/safe, and the building is personalized with child artwork. We really appreciate the enrichment classes and activities (e.g., LANA Nutrition, Music, Yoga, STEM, Spanish, and Sign Language), the daily updates through the Procare App, and the amazing onsite chefs who prepare nutritious meals each day and incorporate ingredients they grow onsite. Site leadership does a wonderful job with recruiting and retaining amazing educators, provide various family fun activities throughout the year, and did a wonderful job keeping families informed as we all navigated Covid. We are very grateful to have such an incredible early learning center for our children and look forward to another 5 years!
