The Gardner School of Lake Elmo

Strongly recommend! My son enjoys his days here and always very happy when we pick him up, the school is very clean, organized and the teachers & staff are super nice. We have used several daycares in Woodbury last few years and this is the best so far.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Gardner School in Lake Elmo. The teachers are absolutely amazing with the kids—they create such a warm, supportive, and engaging environment that has made a huge difference in our child’s confidence and love for learning. The STEAM Lab has been an incredible hands-on learning experience, introducing creativity, problem-solving, and early STEM concepts in a way that’s fun and age-appropriate. It’s clear the school invests in programs that truly enrich development beyond the basics. We also have to give a big shoutout to Coach Benny—his soccer program is top notch! It’s been such a great way for the kids to build coordination, teamwork, and confidence while having a blast. And the indoor play area is unlike anything else we’ve seen at other centers in the area. Especially during Minnesota winters, having such a thoughtfully designed space for active play is a game changer. Overall, The Gardner School Lake Elmo has exceeded our expectations across the board. We’re so grateful to be part of such a caring, high-quality preschool community.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with the Gardner school. Teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to every child’s needs. My child looks forward to going every day, which speaks volumes. Miss Abhi, in particular, has been amazing. she not only cares for him with so much warmth but also helps him learn academically, and we’ve seen such great progress. The communication is excellent, the activities are thoughtful, and the environment is safe, clean, and nurturing. We truly feel like we’re part of a community. Highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to grow.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this school truly goes above and beyond. My son loves going here — such a heartwarming change after the daily tears at his previous school. The menu is varied, and Ms. Jenny and Kaylina do a wonderful job keeping him happy and smiling all day. They have creative activities every day, and I really appreciate the great communication with many photos throughout the day. And I have to give a recognition to Coach Benny, who runs the soccer shots — he’s become an important figure in our daily conversations at home.

My kids attend here and are thriving now more than they have at any previous school. They are clean, happy, and full of stories when we pick them up. They’re comfortable being social and I never have concerns about how they’re treated throughout the day by other kids or the teachers. I receive/see more art work now as well- for one child we’ve seen more [take-home] art with her in 2 months than we saw in the last year for her previous school. The updates are fun to see and the kids genuinely seem to be having fun! The toddler teachers, Kaylina & Jenny are kind, positive and happy whenever we see them dropping off or picking up and Lily my other child’s 3yo class seems very organized and always gives a thorough update on how her day was! The facility is brand new, clean, and has lovely aesthetics. First impression was like walking into a hotel lobby! Would strongly recommend it here!
