The Goddard School of Woodbury (Settlers Ridge)

My son, who is almost five years old, has been attending The Goddard School (Settlers Ridge) since October 2025, and the growth we have seen in his development has been incredible. Before coming to Goddard, he attended several different childcare centers. As a parent, I began to notice that he wasn't progressing in certain areas of his cognitive, fine motor, and gross motor development at the level I expected for his age. When his amazing teachers at Goddard shared the skills they were working on with him and identified areas where he needed additional support, I finally understood where some of those developmental gaps were. In just six months, the progress he has made has been remarkable. He is now writing his name independently, something I had never seen him do before. He is blending sounds together at a Kindergarten level, and it is clear that the teachers are intentionally preparing every child for future success in school. The quality of care that Goddard provides—not only to our son, but to our entire family—is truly exceptional. The leadership team is always warm and welcoming, greeting my child each morning and taking the time to check in with me as a parent. The teachers are nurturing, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and success. Their dedication, patience, and love for what they do are evident every day. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Goddard School (Settlers Ridge) to any family looking for a safe, supportive, and educational environment where their child can thrive.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Goddard. From day one, the teachers and staff made us feel like family. They truly take the time to get to know not only your child, but your entire family, and that level of care shines through in everything they do. The teachers are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and it is clear that they are passionate about child development. We always felt confident that our daughter was being challenged, encouraged, and cared for in ways that supported her growth and milestones. One thing we especially appreciated was the communication. We received updates, photos, and information throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. The staff always knew both us and our child by name, creating a warm and welcoming environment every day. Another huge positive was how healthy our 9 month old has stayed while attending. Compared to what many parents experience in childcare, she was rarely sick, which speaks volumes about the school's cleanliness and health practices. Beyond the staff and teachers, we've loved being part of the Goddard community. We met so many wonderful families and formed connections with other parents that made our experience even more special. We are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and love the entire Goddard team has shown our daughter. The Goddard School has top notch early childhood educators and a large leadership team that is available and willing to support on-site every day. Security and the safety of children are top priorities which makes me feel confident having my kids there. Goddard provides an exciting variety of learning materials and opportunities that keep kids engaged and excited! I also love that my kids are exposed to a wide array of nutritious foods being served at meals and snacks. We've loved being at Goddard for over 6 years!

We absolutely love The Goddard School at Settlers Ridge! From my very first meeting with Shannon, I knew this was a special place. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuine, and both she and the school have such a positive, uplifting energy. From the ownership team and leadership staff to the teachers, everyone has been kind, supportive, and dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for both children and parents. One of the things that stands out most is the sense of community. Whether it's at drop-off, pick-up, in the hallways, or in the classroom, leadership and teachers always take the time to greet families, ask about our day, and make us feel valued. They consistently communicate about our children's experiences, providing detailed Daily Sheets that highlight what they learned, how their day went, and photos of activities they enjoyed. The curriculum is another highlight. The school offers engaging, creative, and age-appropriate learning experiences that both of our children have truly enjoyed. It's clear that a great deal of thought goes into making learning both educational and fun. Cleanliness and health are also top priorities. In addition to daily cleaning and sanitization practices, the school utilizes a ZONO machine to provide an extra level of sanitization for classroom materials, helping reduce the spread of illness beyond standard cleaning procedures. We also love the special events and activities that bring families together and create memorable experiences for the children. From World Culture Day and Mother's/Father's Day celebrations to water days, bike days, and Parents' Night Out events, there are so many opportunities to build connections and foster a strong sense of community. Overall, our transition to The Goddard School has been wonderful, and our experience has exceeded expectations. We highly recommend The Goddard School at Settlers Ridge to any family looking for a caring, engaging, and supportive childcare environment.

Having experienced multiple pre school options in the area, the Goddard School of Woodbury is by far the highest standard of all from their early emphasis on academics, (super) high end hospitality, clean and even healthy menu items that meet even my specific criteria as a mom who prioritizes healthy options that often require an extra step in the kitchen. Did I mention Goddard's top of the line teachers and staff members who treat each and every child as their own? We have never experienced a school of this quality, not even close. Our family would give the Goddard School of Woodbury 100 stars for a rating every single day.
