Staff is persistent in the worst way. Brought my 2 yo in for a day pass for the first time. We got undressed in the women’s bathroom swam for about a hour then went quietly to the showers. We got undressed began showering…quietly…and a staff member posted themselves outside the shower to inform me it was only 18+ allowed then stood there waiting for us to exit the shower. Genuinely expecting us to stop showering to move. I said thanks I’ll remember for next time there was a different spot. A spot that is labeled as “family” but just means anyone can enter. There are rooms to get dressed and undressed but as someone who has had poor experiences in those environments in the past reluctant to go in even after acquiring the information that’s where they want us to bring the children. As we were walking out staff then attempted to get my name to write a note in my account about the encounter. No need. We won’t be returning since my quiet child was made a spectacle by multiple staff members. We would have been happy using the correct lock room the next time if we were approached appropriately to begin with. That was inappropriate and shut me down completely for communicating the situation with other staff.
