Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center

Our 13 month old has been at YBR Minnetonka since she was 4 months old, and she has had excellent care! The facility is nice with the infant rooms always appearing clean and full of fun toys, books, and activities for the babies; and the staff is communicative and warm. We can tell that they truly love our child! She has had some complexities to her care needs, and the staff have been very accommodating and helpful through that process. She is always happy at pickup, and we can tell she is well cared for and has had fun learning and social experiences all day! We also love the app for updates throughout the day including fun pictures.

I can’t say enough great things about the staff and facilities at YBR Minnetonka! As a first time parent, I was nervous to leave my baby at daycare, but my daughter was welcomed with open arms and I never once questioned choosing YBR! They use an app to keep you updated on everything that happens throughout the child’s day from feeds, activities, diaper changes, pictures, etc. Miss Maura, Miss Belinda, Miss V, and so many of the other amazing ladies that work there were better than I could have asked for! They called me with any concerns or updates in my daughter’s care. It really felt like a community and even the teachers from other classrooms knew who me and my daughter were and would always greet us! HIGHLY recommend choosing YBR for your childcare needs.

Our son started at 6 months old and is now 2! We have seen a huge transformation in this center from first day to present day. We have always felt he is safe, well cared for and updated on his days- but recently, since Ms. Maura became director, there is a much deeper connection, like a second family. Staff morale and retention has significantly increased. Themed days and special celebrations are the new norm, along with fabulous handmade decorations in the lobby welcoming the little ones everyday! We highly recommend YBR to anyone considering childcare options.

We have had both of our kids now at YBR since they were three months old. We have seen the center evolve and go through a lot of changes, but could not be more happy with their care. The teaches have always been wonderful and we can tell they truly care about our kids. The current director, Ms. Maura has been absolutely amazing! She is so engaging with both parents and the kids, and communication has been great. We love the constant child and center updates we receive and our kids always look forward to going!

My child has been attending YBC, part time, since age 1. The center has continued to evolve, while maintaining a clean, stable and social environment for children to learn in. Ms. Maura (the director) greets us with a cheerful “hello!” And it immediately sets a welcoming tone. Pre-K teacher Ms. Ellie is down to earth, patient and brings creativity and witty humor to the classroom. She sings with the kids and actively engages them in learning. Ms. Maura and Ms. Megan communicate thoughtfully, and we are so grateful for the care, dedication, and positive energy the staff brings every day. They truly care about the meaningful work they do and it shows.
