  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at YWCA. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a great variety of equipment for all fitness levels. I always felt comfortable and motivated during my workouts. I highly recommend YWCA to anyone looking for a supportive and positive place to stay active and healthy.

  • Not economical. Way to expensive hands down. Point blank period. Rates are outrageous. The price for 1 month is what it should be for a whole year. A large fee on top of a joiners fee? No reason this should not be no more than $25 a month to be accessible to the community that it’s supposed to represent. These prices are predatory. And well shame on the governing body of this establishment. Serve the community because $77 + Joiner's Fee $150 is far from serving the community period! Just the facts

  • All group classes were cancelled for a week due to temperature issues in the building. I had checked the website for possible schedule changes before making the trip there. I got there & found out all the classes were cancelled. That information should have appeared across the schedule online not on a banner the staff had to search for to show us. Facility & classes are good but communication needs improvement.

  • I am a member here because it's the closest indoor pool to my home. It's nice they have a wide range of lap swim hours. Because of this I continue to come back. That said, it's disappointing how frequently things such as the hot tub and leisure pool (where the kids swim) seem to break and need long periods before they're fixed again. Also, I don't have concrete examples but the front desk staff don't exude kindness. Whenever I mention or even ask something about the facility, they react in a way that makes it seem like I'm inconvenienceing them and their day.

  • Just had an interesting run in with the CEO at this location. I attend the child care area. There is designated parking for the childcare parent pick up/drop off right in front of the building. For the handicap cap parking spots, it is set up for parents to park there during 7am-9:30am and 4pm-6pm, very convenient and considerate for parents. This morning as I parked in this handicap spot as I regularly do around 9:15am to take my baby into the daycare area, I was greeted by an employee of the YWCA. She informed me that I couldn’t park there. I made her aware that I could, she continued to stand there and insist I could not. I initially thought to ignore her, but I wanted to respect my elders, but as she continued to stand there insisting, I continued to remove by baby out of my car leading to me ignoring her already in a rush and only having 20 minutes to get out of parking there before being charged. She finally went into the building, I dropped my baby off inside and went to the front desk to make a complaint. I was informed that the individual who I had the verbal disagreement with is actually the CEO of the YWCA. This actually makes it worse and quite embarrassing that she isn’t aware of the policy. Just as I was considering to potentially apply for employment here, this incident was necessary because I would highly dislike working under someone as such that’s not familiar with policy yet harassing people.

  • The YWCA sucks and it always has. A classic tale of “actions speak louder than words.” They say all the right things but treat their patrons like criminals. No empathy, no understanding. It’s ridiculously expensive for what it is and you can expect to be treated like dirt by admin.
