DELMAR GARDENS OF O'FALLON, L.L.C.

My mother in law has been at Delmar Gardens OFallon 3 times in the past couple of years for rehab- most recently last month. She has received excellent care each time! The staff have always kept me well informed. Her therapy has been excellent and worked hard to get her back home. Discharge planning was well communicated so we could be prepared. She loved the food! Even made some new friends while she there.

Pros, clean and nice staff. Cons, laundry service keeps taking clothes when the family is doing the laundry but it seems to be resolved, after several months of comments to the staff (and signs on the closet door lol). I’d recommend.

I understand weather warnings , however if I’m calling to inquire about a program you all have IT IS VERY RUDE TO HANG UP IN MY FACE CAROL. I am VERY understanding when it comes to the needs of others but being rude short answer and hanging up in my face is grounds for me to call corporate. STOP BEING RUDE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NICE TO YOU. I’ll be sure to report that too. Hmph.

Absolutely awful experience. ***DO NOT BRING PARKINSONS PATIENTS HERE! There is no care in healthcare at this facility. Administering medication on time is the most important thing with a condition like parkinsons. I was told they only operate on a FLEX med schedule. I explained the importance of timing for patients likje this and the difficulties their schedule was causing my loved one, they showed no assistance in the matter ensuring me that they don't make exceptions. Also, the staff was short with my loved one as well as us as the family. In 13 years of battling parkinsons it was the first time (and since) that my loved one signed a DNR because of how bad they were doing in that facility. We ran and got back on track somewhere else. ***BEST EXPERIENCE EVER AT: Rehabilitation Institute of St. Peters

This is not your typical review, at the festivities last night I somehow lost my keys and I was so upset about it. The key ring has a picture of my deceased mother, my daughter took me back to look for my keys where we were sitting with no success. The staff members that helped locate my keys were so very kind and patience . I don't remember anyone's name , but I do remember the first staff member I encountered because she said she was admin. assistant. Please let them know I'm forever grateful for their help. Turns out I left the on one of the bus and Kenny the bus driver found the keys.
