EXPLORING MINDS ACADEMY - CREEKSIDE NW, INC

We have loved our experience at exploring minds! We are especially grateful for the wonderful teachers who have helped our little guy learn and grow. They have a great curriculum with different themes of learning for each week. Our under 2 is able to do most of his abc’s, knows all his colors and is already counting. We really love all the little art projects he brings home and accompanying musical numbers he performs for us. Would recommend to any family looking for care + early childhood education in Parkville.

This daycare has a lot to figure out. This is a new facility with changing leaderships constantly and has only been open less than a year. They charge the highest rates of any day care in the area and do not have premium benefits. They don’t really use an app- they have one, but you don’t get updates until the end of the day and rarely ever with a photo. They have an extremely tiny outdoor play area and an inside “rec room” with literally nothing in it. They close according to the school district for any type of weather which no other daycare in our area does. I would send the admin staff emails with no response for days. For a brand new daycare, their technology is all outdated with 4 different apps for everything and a laptop at the front that is from the year 2000 to check in every day and doesn’t even work. I expect way better when I pay $1,600 /month. You would think a parent would be getting top of the line experiences but it’s very average at best. I do have to say, the teachers are incredible and I like them a lot! Just unfortunate that they’re stuck at a place that operates like it’s 1980.

Exploring Minds Academy is a fantastic childcare center! Pamela and her team truly care about each child and create a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. The facility is always clean and organized, and it’s clear that the staff love what they do. Pamela runs the academy with genuine passion and professionalism — parents can feel confident their children are in great hands here. Highly recommend to any family looking for quality care and early education!
