Not very good place strap bad kids to chairs if a baby hits they leave them in crib all day .Treat workers like crap wouldn't recommend

Our son goes to Harmony and has been for about 15 months now. It is a wonderful place for him. All of the staff are extremely kind and professional and care deeply about the children. Even though our son is a toddler, he is already learning a lot of the classic Montessori ideas like interest in other cultures, responsibility and respect, and self-directed learning. The "vibe" of Harmony at dropoff and pickup is always welcoming and enthusiastic and the staff does a great job keeping it neat and tidy. The food is also excellent; I pretty much wish I could steal some of the breakfast whenever I drop my son off. Harmony is a real asset for the Joplin community.

Cannot recommend Harmony Montessori Academy enough. My son has been going there since he was 6 months old and is now almost 2. From the time he was in the Nido (baby room) I've seen nothing but care, compassion, and respect for the children-- celebrating their successes and the uniqueness, and believing in their ability to learn and grow. Now as a toddler, his teachers take the time to plan interesting and engaging lessons, making their world bigger by studying people and places different from what they know, and teaching them how to care for the people and things right in front of them through gentleness, kindness, and responsibility. The communication is excellent from the teachers and staff about the great things (fun photos and videos of their day, notes of mastery of activities) and the hard things (sickness, bonks or scrapes at school). We feel very fortunate to be a part of this new and growing school, and I highly recommend you consider Harmony for your children too.

My 4 kids have been going to Harmony for 10 months now. This school has the biggest blessing in our lives! They are so calm and patient with the kids. It is very clean and organized. The food is healthy and they are careful with allergies. My kids have learned so much and grown in so many ways thanks to Harmony. This is not a typical daycare, it is SO much more. I could not say enough great things about Harmony and all of the people there!

We had a wonderful experience. The director was very professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The tour was informative and made us feel comfortable and confident. The environment was calm, clean, and clearly focused on the children. It didn’t take us long to feel confident in choosing and trusting this childcare to care for our precious little one. Highly recommend!
