  • Ive been looking for a daycare for my little ones but ive had people tell me not to go to this one and pretty much tell me what all their bad reviews are exactly what to expect when arriving, unprofessional.

  • Kind of similar to other reviews I am seeing. I went to drop my daughter off today 3/7/25 and upon the answer at the door I was stopped by the daughter of Ms Margaret asking me if I have payment today I reply no and she tells me my daughter is unable to attend. Today was going to be her last day anyway. I was behind due to loosing my job in October I took her out and she didn’t return until December or January I can’t remember which month. Prior to that I had a $200 balance. She starts back since I was out of work for 3 months I am behind on bills not their business but I’m doing the best I can. The balance gets all the way to $800. Prior to that balance was only $600. I asked where does the other 2 come from. I’m told by the daughter that I still have to pay for the spot. Mind you last week was the bad weather freezing temps. I assumed the first 3 days they are closed so that leaves THURSDAY AND FRIday. Since my other 2 kids didn’t have school I didnt see the need to let her go for only 2 days and still be charged. So now we have a $800 balance because they charged me for a week my child wasn’t there. I get it all the way down to $300 as of this week.I had just mad a payment 2 days ago in the amount of the $200 which is where I’m getting $300 left. It’s very unprofessional to allow me to show up this morning when you all knew yesterday when her dad picked her up this was going to be the case this morning. I have to be at work at 8am and I’m getting told this at 7:45am. So now I am unable to go to work because I have no one out here to watch her! It really seems that when it’s all said and done it’s about money only! Im still paying every week. This is very upsetting and I don’t like to talk bad about anyone or anything but I don’t recommend this place at all! They just money hungry. They didn’t try to talk to me about it or ask if I’m able to give $50 extra to get balance down nothing it’s she can’t come! Now I’m even more posses because I just paid $200 a few days ago nd I can’t get that back. I really don’t recommend here! Myself and my 3 year old loved Ms Margaret but the way this unfold it’s only about the money.

  • Amazing family owned center. We have been going here for 5 years and we absolutely love it!! Staff are great at communicating and reaching out immediately if/ when incidents happen. They love our kiddos and I have always felt they were more than safe with them. My son has learned so much from them and enjoys coming! Even when I drop him off in a bad mood, they always go above and beyond to help comfort him. So glad to have found them!

  • My children have attended Momma Bears Daycare since the facility opened in 2017, so this review is long overdue! It's also very long, but absolutely worth the time to read! My family has experienced every type of child care there is; all different in their own ways, all with certain pros/cons. Then we found Momma Bears and our life changed. As with any new child care situation, I was filled with all the emotions - I want the very best for my children & change is hard on everyone! My worries instantly faded - day one. I just knew everything was going to be ok. The caretakers are the best around; friendly, laid back, knowledgeable, caring & we are always greeted with a smile. The ladies have become our family. My husband, children & I love them, trust them & never hesitate to share our life with them. I know that everyday my kids are being taught in a school-like environment & learning new things, being raised as I raise them, having fun and doing age appropriate activities, socializing & making friends, learning life skills and being loved unconditionally. What more could a mother wish for?! I love that I can drop off my kids on a day when they are crabby or upset & the staff will stop what they are doing to comfort them as I leave. I know that they will eat good meals, they will take naps & most importantly, they will be happy. I cherish the ability to be able to check in on them through the day, whether it's via the live camera feeds throughout the facility or by texting the director if I have any questions or concerns. Communication is very important to me & I always know about upcoming activities, policy changes, how my kids day was, and if they need anything. I know I will be notified immediately if my kids are sick or get injured (my son is a clumsy one!). The facility schedule is very accommodating to a working household and the holidays off are not excessive - which is a huge plus! The staff is so dedicated to ensuring they are open, that on more than one occasion they have stayed overnight during bad weather conditions to make sure they are open the next day. I understand from a couple of the other reviews posted that some people are less than thrilled with outcomes of their experiences with Momma Bears; however I think it's important to point out that it is always easier to give a bad review than it is to give a good one & there are ALWAYS two sides to a story. I think the truth is shown when you compare the large amount of good reviews throughout the internet to the few bad.... I would also like to make it known that Patty (Patricia) was a well-loved member of the Momma Bears family (my son talked about her all the time when he was in her room). I am sad to see that she and her family (Sandra) would post such negative reviews following a disagreement with the owners. It is sad and petty to discourage others from being a part of such a wonderful family based on a personal matter as an employee, not mention hypocritical to use the word “unprofessional,” in addition to the lack of context to the situation with a one star review. I will not pretend to know all the facts, however common sense says that the review is based more on being disgruntled than truthful. I want to personally extend an invitation to anyone considering Momma Bears to reach out to me if you want to chat, because while this is a five star review, I consider this second home off the charts!
