  • Our family has been with Morning Star Academy for 3 years. We love it! We had a few not so good experiences at other places before we landed here. I am so happy we found this daycare!

  • We love Morning Star, sons been attending since 8 weeks old. Love all the teachers, curriculum, app with pictures and schedule all day to know what’s going on.

  • As a parent, I couldn’t ask for a better place for my child to learn and grow. The staff truly care about the children and work hard to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment. I especially appreciate how wonderful the director has been anytime I’ve had a concern. She has always listened and the kitchen staff and teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure my child is safe with his food allergies, even providing safe alternatives and taking precautions to prevent accidental exposure. That level of care means so much to me, as a parent. My child has learned so much here, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s surrounded by people who genuinely care. We are so thankful for this school!

  • What started out so great, ended so bad. My sister went here over 20 years ago so it was my go to when I had my first daughter. We looooved our time there. The teachers were amazing (Linda, Marisela, so many more) and loved our director Sabrina. When Sabrina left it came tumbling down. The new director runs a boutique and was sometimes working. She claimed it was something like 9-5, but during drop off and pick up we never saw her. I would go midday and she wouldn’t be there. But you have to make sure your boutique is profiting, kids come second. Our big issues were the structure was gone. Chapel stopped happening completely. At first she told us this was due to their summer program and extra kids being there. But it never stated back up. Then my child was picked up multiple days by grandparents, IDs never checked. What really bothered me is that my daughter was in class with another child with the same first and middle name, same hair and eye color. The ID being checked was never corrected. Twice my daughter came home in pants soaked in pee. I addressed it with them while I was still in the parking lot and the teacher said it must have happened after we left, she had no spots in her room. I was devastated to leave, my daughter loved all her friends there and we grew to love the staff. But every concern we had brought up was always deflected. No ownership at all. Fast forward to today I have been blocked from the Facebook page. Amazing that a director has time to sell clothes and block parents on Facebook but can’t run day to day operations at a daycare. There are two sides to every story, and I would hope the church would listen to the many parents that have removed their children from this school in the last year.

  • We love Morning Star! As a momma who had anxiety about where to send her little one, their staff and atmosphere made me feel completely safe and excited for her to be there. She gets so excited every morning when she realizes where we are! We love this place!

  • This place is amazing. They use an app called “Brightwheel” where they can send communication, pictures, and updates through. They’re very attentive to the kiddos, very communicative and welcoming. I love it here, the employees are all so sweet. They do developmentally appropriate things with the kids, helping them learn and grow. The building needs some works, but they’re working on it! I love Morning Star and you should too!
