  • My best friends kids go here the teachers are awesome . But the owner is very unpleasant . Some of the workers deserve better treatment. You can tell the staff isn’t appreciated at all. The meals the children eat daily terrible. I see the logs it’s the same food weekly.

  • I had a terrible experience with this facility, specifically with the director, Karen. Instead of supporting the children, she is highly argumentative and actively antagonizes them. If a child gets in trouble, she refuses to let the actual classroom staff handle it and instead steps in to personally target and provoke them. She constantly picked on my son instead of actually correcting his behavior, and eventually kicked him out. (He was only 3 when kicked out) While he was enrolled, she threatened my child and called my phone every single day while I was at work to complain about every minor thing. To prove that the issue was the environment and not my child, he has since attended two different daycares and has had absolutely zero behavior issues as well as graduated preschool with positive behavior. The problem is entirely with the director's management and treatment of the kids. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. Ms. Carmen (teacher) was the only positive attribute to this facility.

  • DONT trust your kids going here & being genuinely cared for. These adults that supposed to loving people are very cold hearted individuals. They don’t care about the safety and well being of a child. If I could give it zero stars I would. Your kids will not be properly cared for in this establishment.

  • It’s not the teachers it’s the director, she is not a personable individual and if your child exhibits any type of bad behavior she won’t let her staff work with your child she will call you while your at work and demand that you pick up your child. So if your child isn’t an angel this daycare is not for you. She is an older lady and she seems bitter and at times very upset due to her business being so short staffed. If you drop your kid off at 8:45am you have to pick them up at 3:30pm , because she is short staffed so the state regulations don’t apply as for the mom & Dads who pays with state funding.I never experienced any hygiene issues but I did experience unfair treatment from only her the staff is very polite and welcoming but if you can avoid her and her negativity maybe the daycare will be a good fit for you.

  • It is with deep regreat that I feel the need to respond to some of the past and recent post; however, it is necessary to address misinformation. In my 19 years of operation, I have never met the individials referenced and named Rebecca Ross (Rebecca posted picture is not familiar as a former parent) and Patricia Pettycoat, nor have they ever had children enrolled in my center with any such incident. Unfortunately, anonymous and untrue statements can sometimes be made by individuals who are dissatisfied for reasons unrelated to the quality child care we provide. Such statements do not reflect the values, practices, or reality of our program. Regarding the individual named Destiny Burns, her family was formally removed from my childcare center due to repeated incidents of irate behavior and disrespectful communication toward my staff. This decision was made after careful consider and was based soley on maintaining a safe, respectul, and professional environment for my children and employees. Her removal had NO CONNECTION TO THE QUALITY OF CARE PROVIDED to her children. Our center holds firm standards for conduct, and when those standards are consistently violated, it becomes necessary to take action in the interest of my staff and families. Additionally, I find it important to note that this post was made more than three years after the family departed my center. During that time, there were no complaints raised regarding the care provided. While I cannot speak to the timing or motivation behind the post, I remain focused on transparency, professionalism, and the continued well-being of the children and families we serve. I encourage anyone reading these post to consided the importance of integrity and character, as stated in Corinthians 15:33. To our families, supporters, and community of North County Children's Academy; thank you for your continued trust. We are proud to provide high-quality childcare in a positive learning environment that prepares every child for success and fosters a love of lifelong learning. The well-being of every child is our top priority, and our long history of children excelling, accelerating, and entering gifted and advanced progams reflects that commitment. We warmly invite anyone interested to visit our center, meet our staff, and see firsthand the care and dedication we provide. Be blessed, and hope to see you soon! Karen Anderson Owner-Director
