Great YMCA. The facility was clean and the weight room was organized well! The free weights are a bit dated but were maintained well. They also have a sauna, indoor pool, a recover spa ( small heated pool ) kept at 100f. Janice, at the front desk was kind and welcoming.
Wes SmithAug 11, 2025A nice area to workout. Very Clean weight room. Lots of options. Good variety of cardio to choose from. My favorite option is the dry sauna . Real rare to find those in a small town gym. With the Olympic size pool & basketball court, the Seymour YMCA really does have everything for everyone.
Rebekah LebahnOct 23, 2024It was nice to be able to go to a pool in winter but I was surprised that the pool wasn't heated. I can imagine it's crazy expensive to keep a pool warm in the winter, but my poor kid came out of the pool BLUE. 😅 I'm not sure we will go back till it starts to warm up.
Teacher NikkiJan 17, 2024First time here. Brought my granddaughter to swim. Jessica was working the front desk, very friendly, and helped us back to the pool. So sweet to my shy granddaughter. Pool was clean and staff was friendly. We will be back. I definitely recommend!
Debra NewgerJul 28, 2022The YMCA had nice staff and was very welcoming as we were visiting grandma from out of state. The SPA was huge and very enjoyable! Thanks for a good experience.

And it's nice that they have a group rate so if you have three or more people in your family it's not as expensive. They also have pretty reasonable hours We always find time to go work out there.
