  • Our family has had a wonderful experience at Paper Moon over the last 9 months 💖 We were originally referred by friends who have been there for more than 4 years now. Liz, the owner, is there every day. In addition to leading an excellent team, she prepares breakfast, lunch, and snack with love and attention to detail. It’s very clear that caring for children and seeing them as individuals is her life’s work. That approach is apparent across the staff at Paper Moon. Staff members stay long term, they are consistent, they know their kids and families well. Liz invests in her team, and it shows. They provide detailed reports and personalized care for the individual needs of a community of littles. The time, energy, and care devoted to their work is very obvious. Communication with parents is solid, timely, and always compassionate. They see the best in these kids while supporting their growth opportunities with love and encouragement. A strong knowledge base in child development is obvious across the entire team. Staff members are attuned to the needs of children who benefit from additional supports for emotional regulation. Preschool education is seamlessly woven into the day to day activities in a fun and active way. They do so many crafts, activities, and fun sensory activities! They play outside so much when weather permits, and our high-energy son absolutely loves playing with friends on their shaded playground! The space at Paper Moom is so clean, organized, and a perfect blend of “professional childcare” and “extension of a loving home.” Paper Moon has so many wonderful options for indoor play, yet the space never feels cluttered or chaotic, even with a floor full of littles playing together. They keep easy tabs on a family-supplied store of essentials for each child right there at hand, so there is no shuffling of supplies/bags/food/beverage —just drop offs and pick ups that can be entirely focused on a smooth transition between school and home 💗 Their maximum enrollment is 35 children. This is by design and to the families’ benefit. We first came to Paper Moon as we were transitioning from full time care with a nanny in our home for 2+ years. We toured many options, and we were so fortunate to have found an opening at Paper Moon when we did. Nowhere else we visited quite hit the marks for ✅ Excellent, professional preschool ✅ Loving, nurturing, personal, home-like environment in all the same ways. As a medical professional, small business owner, and a mom of 15+ years, I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking, I highly recommend scheduling a tour to see if Paper Moon feels right for your family. I’m so glad we did!

  • We have had the best experience at Paper Moon North Early Learning Center! Our little guy started in December. The center has worked diligently to make our transition from home to daycare as seamless as possible. Everyone from owners to all of the staff members and care givers know my little one's name. They always make us feel welcome at pick up and drop off. The facilities are clean, bright and child centered. We love it here!

  • We've been at Paper Moon since the day my daughter turned 2, about 6 months now. She absolutely LOVES her friends and the staff at Paper Moon ELC. Miss Meghan and Miss Marley love my little girl and I can tell in the way they care for her and her classmates. The growth she's had in her speech, proprioception, appetite, and potty training is more than I could have done alone at home. She looks forward to school every single day and we couldn't be more grateful for the small, tight-knit family that Paper Moon as made us such a part of!

  • My experience here started great but now I’m looking at moving my child to a different childcare facility. They opened a second location and brought on all new staff and I’m not impressed. My child is getting hurt on a consistent basis with no explanation or mention of the injuries, we have to play spot the injuries in the bath to make sure I don’t accidentally scrub a sore spot too hard. She’s now on teacher number 4 after only having started recently and I have no way to contact anyone to find out why it is that any of what’s been happening is ok. Overall I just can’t say I recommend them anymore.
