  • I was genuinely so excited about this daycare at first. As a mom to a little boy, the idea of a nature-centered daycare where he could spend time outside, explore, and just get to be a kid felt really special to me. In the beginning, I truly loved it and felt hopeful about having found a place that seemed different from a typical daycare setting. Unfortunately, within the first couple months, everyone in the infant room quit. I personally witnessed a substitute screaming at infants, and after that the environment started to feel very overwhelmed and chaotic every time I walked in. Some of the original staff who left even encouraged me to look into other childcare because they felt management and substitutes were struggling. Despite the changes, I tried to give it more time. Within three months of my son attending, he ended up with two black eyes on separate occasions — once around 6 months old and again around 9 months old. The first incident was handled appropriately with clear communication and documentation. The second incident was very different. Stories were inconsistent, explanations changed, and I was not notified before pickup. I discovered the injury myself when I picked him up. When I decided to withdraw him, the owner did communicate with me and seemed genuinely concerned once she became aware of the situation. I do appreciate that. But by that point, my trust in the supervision and communication had already been broken. I truly think the concept behind this daycare is wonderful, and I hope things improve because there is a lot of potential there. But as a single mom balancing work and school, I needed to feel confident my child was safe and properly supervised, and unfortunately I no longer felt that way.

  • My sister up and moved due to her neighbor harassing her kids and so she moved to a new house in 4 days then she told them after she moved and tried to get their pullups diapers personalized cups winter wear and extra clothes and they r refusing to give any of it back saying that its not there and its sad that they r willing to keep foster kids stuff just to be petty

  • It's been a year since my kids went here but I feel the need to say that when we did attend, the staff did a fantastic job. When we first started attending after previously dealing with an awful daycare, the staff demonstrated how childcare is supposed to work. A true focus on the well-being of the children, a prioritization of their education, good healthy food and an actual plan to jumpstart the kid's learning to get them ready for school. Thanks again guys, you did a great job.

  • Great concept, love the idea for the nature school. My little one was excited to go and I thought it was going to be a really good experience for him but unfortunately due to the extremely poor communication we had to go in a different direction. Maybe they should consider hiring some help in the office.

  • I am really happy with Peapod. I feel so good taking my child to a center with AMAZING teachers. Ms. Leslie & Ms. Katy are the best ever. Yes, peapod has gone through a location change and they are looking to expand. Communication hasn't been the best in recent months but I have confidence it will improve based on our experience over the past year with Peapod. Their whole philosophy that nature is learning and Love & Logic parenting has worked so well for my child. They helped potty train my child and kept me up to date on her progress. They do yoga and deep breathing techniques. My child is able to describe her emotions to me because she is taught to recognize when she is happy and sad at Peapod – this is everything. They are literally helping me raise my child in the manner I want her brought up. Yes, they are pricy but it’s worth the cost to me. This is the ONLY daycare in town that felt warm and homey yet educational. I am a huge fan and offer them grace based on recent changes. Highly recommend.
