This is the first Church I felt comfortable joining since I was about 18. I went there For about three years before I made that jump. The number one reason was probably that the people there are so friendly and so welcoming how could you not! The sermons no matter who does them are so down to earth, and always related not only from versus in the Bible, but then How it relates also to today’s situations.
nanci andersonMar 30, 2025This congregation is so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful! We sang here for their 2023 - 2024 Concert Series. The concert was attended by many church members, who were very appreciative of our music and hosted a reception for us afterwards. They had many kind words and great conversation to share. If we lived in Kansas City, I would attend this church solely because of this short visit. Thank you, Pine Ridge!
Lauren VomundNov 5, 2023This is a friendly and caring group of people who love God, their neighbors, and welcome diversity. The music ( pianist exceptional) is great and the artful stained glass window is inspiring, as well as the baptism overflowing font. The ministers are inspiring and not afraid to speak of how the Bible relates to what is happening today. The breath prayer and greeting one another during service are highlights, children are welcome. There is a children’s sermon and classes for children and adults to keep learning Bible and how to put loving actions to work in community.
Janet ArcherDec 23, 2019Pine Ridge is a fabulous facility for worship. The many amenities, friendly congregation, and large youth program all have something to be said for them. The church also sponsors Boy Scout Troop #1395, one of the Northland's premier scout troops.
Trey BreshearsJun 26, 2019It has been my home church since 1964. I moved away in the late 70s and returned to KC in 1998. Pine Ridge was the first place I came back to. It is an open. Caring, Christian family . Great support for youth, singles, married and families. All are welcome of all ages. Great support for older singles as well.
