  • My son has attended Preschool of the Arts for two years, and I am extremely pleased with his growth and development during this time. The staff constantly provide care, and we have not experienced any issues. Since enrolling, my son has become much more independent, communicates clearly in complete sentences, and continues to advance academically- he knows his ABC’s and is counting confidently. I highly recommend Preschool of the Arts to any families in the inner city seeking a nurturing and supportive daycare environment.

  • My daughter started here on 26th of August and the next day she was very sick and I took her to children’s Mercy twice in one night sent me home saying she just have a high fever but as the father, I knew that wasn’t it so by morning, a lot of little bumps start deform on our legs feet, hands and mouth call the daycare and the lady in the morning said there was nothing wrong with the other kids, and she haven’t seen no signs of sickness or anything I talked to another man and she told him Monday morning on 25 August that a kid had measles so my daughter went back to the hospital and she had foot and mouth disease. I went there for the first time and noticed that the place was not sanitize floors with stain for multiple years of wear and tear old furniture. Even the staff had medical problems so the lady lied first of all and then lied about the cleanings of the daycare. They do not have a business to come clean their daycare so I highly recommend no one goes there. I need parents to come together and get this place shut down. We’ll be taking it to Court. and to add to this, you can tell in the photos that these the people that never worked there and they use in other photos for their business totally different people totally different classrooms

  • I’ve put all 3 of my kids in this daycare over the past 6 years and I’ve never had any problems with the staff or anything happening to my children. My 1 year old son goes there now and my girls from time to time and They are always smiling when i drop them off and pick them up.

  • My child began with this day care center on 4/11/24. I have since heard the child care providers screaming and insulting the children. I’ve came and heard the instructors screaming from the outside of the center as well. Every time I come, my son is sitting in a restrictive high chair even if he’s not eating because they are too lazy to engage with the children. The children are miserable and always crying in frustration of being there. A girl asked “What are we doing for the day?” and the provider said “Go wipe yo nose and stop asking me what we’re doing!” in a very angry tone. My 2 year old son had bruises and I wasn’t given an incident report. When I asked what happened, I was told they didn’t know. He also had a hard blue object shoved into his ear that I had to pull out that was causing him to cry in pain. When I asked the providers what happened, I was told they didn’t know again. They treat and speak to the children here very neglectfully & disrespectfully. Today, there was a woman who confronted the providers about hitting her child. When I went to get the documentation I needed to enroll him into another child care center, I was told I couldn’t have it and I’d have to just go get the documentation again elsewhere. I was finally provided the necessary documentation (that belonged to me) when the police was called. This place needs to be shut down. Edit regarding company’s response to review: There was various documents that I needed that were denied that weren’t required by law to keep. It wasn’t a Thursday but regardless, parents don’t have time to make excessive arrangements for documentation that they have a right to when they could lose their job having to take off to get things arranged. The police was called for various reasons including child abuse and neglect. They provided the documents I needed because they didn’t want to be investigated for child abuse including another parent’s child being hit here. The bruises were never addressed by them and they never provided any incident reports. It’s incredibly concerning to claim that I only addressed them to exaggerate the circumstances. Although it’s normal for kids to get into things, it’s abnormal for a child care provider to not ensure they’re not getting into things they shouldn’t and have no knowledge of how a child was harmed under their supervision. As far as issues with certain providers, the issues were with the main older ladies who runs this place and have been for years. Also, payments were made although they shouldn’t have been with such horrible handling of my child and the other children who were in attendance here.

  • I love this place. All 3 of my boys went and still go here. My oldest is 11 now The staff are passionate about the kids. And I couldn't have asked for a better director and teacher then Stephanie. My youngest is 3 and has been here since birth. They care about our kids.
