We truly can’t say enough good things about Stephens House. Our little guy has been going there since he was just 12 weeks old and is now a year old, and it has been such a positive experience for our whole family. He loves his teachers and is always excited to see them, which says everything. The staff has cared for him so well, and we’ve always felt confident knowing he’s safe, loved, and in great hands every day. We’re so thankful to have found a place that feels like an extension of our village.

Stephen’s House is a top notch family owned childcare provider. The owners truly love children and only hire the best staff. They also work hard to keep their talented staff happy, which results in familiar faces for kids as they go through the different grades. Can’t say enough positive things about the people and facility.

Our son has attended Stephen’s House since 2021, and will soon be graduating. It’s almost hard to put into words how much we’re going to miss Stephen’s House and their amazing staff when this day comes! I wanted to highlight a few things that I think are unique here: Many of their teachers seem to be quite long tenured, and having those consistent faces really makes a big difference in both the day-to-day care received as well as the stability the children experience, which is so important. I think this alone speaks volumes. Communication and updates are done through the app Brightwheel and most teachers we’ve had have been very responsive this way. They sometimes send photos and other newsletters through. They don’t automatically follow the school district with closures as some daycares do, and they seem to make every effort to stay open within reason. They do a lot of bonus events that really go above and beyond the day to day childcare — anything from carnivals to trunk or treats. They put a lot of effort into these and they’re really special things to attend with your kiddo. Summers are fun with water day and popsicles. They’re always trying to make improvements to the facility. They recently upgraded the playground from rocks to turf, which was so appreciated by everyone! The kids play outside quite a bit and get plenty of activity. Soccer Shots also visits the school (optional) for some additional activities for the kids. I’d recommend them 10/10 to my closest friends!

Both of our kids — our three-year-old Thomas and our 19-month-old Nadia — have been going here since they were just three months old, and the consistency, care, and love they’ve experienced has been incredible. One of the things we value most is the stability of the teachers. Seeing the same familiar, smiling faces every day has created such a secure environment for our kids. The teachers truly know them — their personalities, their quirks, their strengths — and that kind of continuity is priceless. We also appreciate the thoughtful lesson plans and intentional learning activities. Every week brings something new: colors, shapes, songs, sensory play, early STEM… it all feels purposeful and age-appropriate, and we can see how much Thomas and Nadia have grown because of it. But above all, what makes Stephen’s House special is the genuine sense of family. It never feels like “daycare” — it feels like an extension of our home. Our kids are loved, welcomed, and celebrated every single day, and as parents, that is everything. We are so grateful for Stephen’s House and the amazing team that makes it such a warm, nurturing place. Our family couldn’t recommend it more! 💛

We absolutely love Stephen’s House! The staff are truly incredible—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and well-being. The staff makes a point to get to know each child regardless if they are in their specific classroom. From day one, we felt confident knowing our children were in such caring and capable hands. The security and safety measures give us total peace of mind, and our children are genuinely happy to go to school every day. It’s a warm, nurturing environment with excellent communication and a true sense of community. We receive newsletters, artwork, and constant photos of our kids throughout the week. We are so lucky we found this daycare and we highly recommend Stephen’s House to any family!
