Would highly recommend WeCare children ministry!! I have had great experiences with the entire staff. Both my children have been at this facility since born. I felt the need to write this review after seeing some negative feedback from one unhappy family. WeCare just celebrated 50 years this last September serving our community. During those 50 years Peggee just celebrated 49 years of service, Donna 40 years, Nancy 37 years, Beth 25 years, Laura 21 years. These core woman have dedicated their lives to serving our little ones. They have done it through times of little money, long hours, and very little praise. I am so happy my family found WeCare!! Sorry for the long rant #Tyreeksucks
Tom JonesMay 18, 2026All of my kids spent their early education here and it was an incredible experience every time. The directors, teachers, and support staff are amazing.
Brian SwansonMay 13, 2026Title: Significant decline in care and leadershipWe were happy with We Care for two years, but since December, the quality of care and communication has declined drastically. As of May 4, 2026, we have withdrawn our son due to serious safety and leadership concerns. The Pros:Ms. Megan Keller is an exceptional educator and was the only bright spot during our recent experience. The Cons:Bias: Our son is larger than the average four-year-old, and it was clear staff allowed his size to dictate their perception of him. Normal behaviors were treated as major incidents, while actual physical harm toward him was often dismissed.Safety Issues: Management repeatedly failed to report or investigate incidents, including our son being punched in the face. These were often brushed off by the Director, Ms. Beth, as "kids goofing around."Poor Leadership: Director Ms. Beth is passive and dismissive. Emails regarding our child went unanswered for weeks, and the focus seemed to be on protecting staff rather than the children. We can no longer recommend this facility. We believe every child deserves a nurturing, unbiased environment, which is no longer being provided here. MS candice,Candace whatever it is should not be around children of color, size differences or dral with thiervemotions different. She antagonized our son and was rude to myself and my wife first time meeting her on 2 different occasions. She was also not honest in our 1st meeting and threw visits Mary under the bus. Ironically shortly after Ms Mary left. Mrs Beth never addressed our concerns. Or even asked if what we suggested was being used for our son. Instead she left us with no answers. While we kept asking in the meantime we was made to feel like we was crazy. We also believe that Ms Latisha was recording our son when he was in his non thinking brain. My wife noticed her recording her and my son when he was upset and did not want to stay. Keep your kids far away from the turtle room. Our son has thanked us everyday since he stopped for not taking there. Review of We Care DaycareWe can no longer recommend this facility. While the center presents a positive image externally, our experience as a biracial family suggests a significant disconnect between their stated values and the actual environment provided to children of color.Specifically, we have serious concerns regarding the conduct in the "Turtle Room." We found the communication from staff member Ms. Candice to be antagonistic and unprofessional. Furthermore, we observed Ms. Lexi belittling and yelling at our son for minor behaviors, an incident that went unaddressed despite being reported to administration. Our primary issues include:Lack of Administrative Accountability: We brought several concerns to the Director, Mrs. Beth, including staff dishonesty and inappropriate disciplinary methods. These concerns were consistently dismissed or ignored, with no follow-up or corrective action taken.Inappropriate Conduct: We believe our son was recorded without consent during a moment of emotional distress, which we find highly unethical.Unsupportive Environment: Despite our efforts to provide suggestions to help our son thrive, the leadership failed to implement any collaborative strategies, leading to our son being unfairly marginalized. While we appreciate teachers like Ms. Tracy and Megan Kelly, the current leadership and culture in the Turtle Room do not provide the nurturing, unbiased care every child deserves. Since leaving, our son is significantly happier. We advise other parents—particularly those of children of color—to look elsewhere for a truly inclusive and professional environment. Make sure your kids are not going to the Turtle room as long as Ms Candace is there. As of 5/18!2026 no one has reached out and the owners comments are completely false. Means that they are unaware. We have had several people reach out. One reported that Ms Beth allegedly dismissed reports of one of her staff members abusing the children. State was notified and that staff was terminated.
Tyreek HarryMay 4, 2026My daughter has blossomed so much since being at We Care. We moved from out of state and We Care was highly recommended to us. My daughter asks to go on weekends when school isn’t in. She loves her teachers so much and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Everyone knows her name when we walk in and that means a lot to me. We saw a huge change in her when we moved but after starting we care she seemed to bounce right back into her normal self. Mrs. Laura and Mrs. Tiffany are perfect. They reach out in sick days to see how she did and if there isn’t school for weather they reach out as well even though they don’t have to.
KailaFeb 25, 2018Excellent Christian based day care program.
