  • Horrible staff. Go elsewhere.

  • Highlands Learning Center and Lakeland Learning Cebter are the most disorganized unprofessional daycares in the area. We were bumped down the list without notice or reason. Directors are rude and lie constantly about where you are on the waitlist. Blessing in disguise that our children are not going here as Gabby is extremely rude and I can only imagine how she is behind closed doors with children. And Sarah at HLC is no help either. In January she told me that at minimum it would be a few months before our child could start and so we obviously had to make other arrangements and we asked to remain on the waitlist IN OUR CURRENT SPOT and that we planned on using them. We were put at the bottom of the list without being told and when we inquired why the staff immediately became defensive, rude and extremely unprofessional. Oh and the prices were raised, I assume to help cover the increasing malpractice insurance premiums. AVOID! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS!

  • Not sure why it’s showing up as LifeKids Weekday Ministry however the center name is Highland Learning center I would give them ZERO stars if Google permitted. If your looking into the infant room I would not recommend below is my withdrawal letter that I sent to the center with some of the things I experienced having my infant enrolled in this center. I had very high hopes for this center but regretfully it has fallen short. The 4 months that my son has attended this center it has been chaos, ineffective communication with teachers and nothing short of a tremendous let down. Starting from the beginning as a new mother returning to work was stressful in and of itself and I wanted to make sure I found the best care for my infant son so I could have a peaceful transition back into work but it quickly became apparent that, that wasn’t the case. I understood that all children have a transition period but instead of easing the parents mind I often received horrifying texts and numerous calls stating that they could not get him to calm down. In which I stated the things he liked and didn’t like on a sheet of paper that got blatantly ignored. I even resorted to having him come part-time while still paying full-time and that seemed not to work as well my child has been kept by numerous people and no one seems to have the amount of problems with him as this center does. I have seen on the camera numerous times where teachers have neglected to soothe him when he is upset to be on there cell phones. I have dealt with unprofessional phone etiquette when receiving calls and texts from teachers. There has been several occasions in the evenings when my mother or I have come to pick him up and his face is not wiped, clothes are wet with food on them. I understand infants will tend to mess their clothes up or have there face dirty but it is absolutely unacceptable when I have to get there and do there job for them considering the amount of money that I pay for him to attend there. Overall I am very disappointed in this facility after I have tried to be transparent and understanding in every way imaginable and nothing has seemed to help the situation is getting worse to where I don’t feel comfortable that my child will receive the best care at this facility. The final straw was today when I received a phone call that my child in the matter of an hour of being at the center has had two runny diapers and he was perfectly fine 5 days prior to him coming to the center and all day after I picked him up from the center no additional runny diapers. The teacher proceeding to tell me that he has no wipes in which I was not notified of that he was running low on until the day of and another teacher in the background telling her to hang up the phone. Due to all of these reasons Kaiden will not be back and I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

  • My name is Courtney berry I don’t know why it’s showing heather watts, that’s my mothers name, anyways I was very disappointed with the nursery room. First off they shouldn’t have cameras if they are going to do the things they do! My baby only went a day and a half. The first day he was left in a swing 7 1/2 hours out of the 8. Only got up to eat and be changed! And the second day after I asked them to change positions every two hours I had to call after he had been left in a swing for 3 1/2 hours to tell them to move his position. And then I had to call to tell them to get the blanket off of his face 2 times! I told the First Lady I talked to tell them no blankets and an hour later he had a blanket! The staff overall is nice but not in the infant room! And that’s the room I think is most vital! Very displeased and I’ve literally never in my life left a review

  • I trusted Life Kids to protect my children. I am very sad that you all have untrained staff. Since June, I’ve had three incidents that was brought up to your director, nothing was resolved. The only thing I asked was to be called when something happens, that way I want be surprised when I come to pick up my child. I even spoke to my sons teacher around August and told her to keep me updated, I never received a call whatso ever. Excuse me if I am a concerned parent and wants to know how my son is doing. Like I stated to the director, I have never had any problems from his other daycares until i came to Life Kids! If you were so concerned you would of reached out to me, I have never met you Jim Best and your name sure doesn’t sound familiar, like I said, Like Kids is not the place to bring your children. Please beware!
