LITTLE HOUNDS ACADEMY

I am unsure that there are even the right words to express our thankfulness for this precious school. Everyone here truly becomes family, and it is everything we could ever want in a daycare/preschool and more! I have never once felt unsure about my children being in the care of the staff at this wonderful school. It is such a welcoming and nurturing environment where they ensure that every child thrives. We are so thankful for LHA!

Little Hounds has truly become an extension of our family. From the very first day, the teachers welcomed us with warmth, patience, and genuine love for our children. Drop-offs are never a struggle—our kids walk in with smiles and leave with even bigger ones. The Montessori-inspired approach is nothing short of magical. Children are encouraged to explore, get messy, make mistakes, and discover the world through hands-on experiences. We’ve watched our children grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity in ways we never imagined. The teachers know each child deeply, meeting them exactly where they are and celebrating every little milestone. It’s not just a school—it’s a safe, joyful, and inspiring place where children truly thrive. We feel so blessed to be part of this community, and I can honestly say it’s the best decision we’ve ever made for our kids’ early education. When your children run into school with open arms and come home full of stories, you know you’ve found something special.

Little Hounds has been such a gift for our family. From day one, drop-off went from tears to excited sprints into the center. The teachers know my girls by name (and personality), and you can tell they genuinely love kids. They exhibit lots of patience, real guidance, and so much warmth. The play-based learning feels like real learning, which has been so important to us. We get consistent updates in the parent app with photos and little tidbits, which makes me feel connected to their day. The classrooms are clean and calm, and the routines are thoughtful. The whole place feels like a community, not just a preschool/daycare. My kids come home happy, tired, and proud of what they made or learned. If you’re looking for a nurturing, structured, and genuinely joyful early learning environment in Ocean Springs, I can’t recommend Little Hounds enough. We’re so grateful to be here.

Little Hounds Academy has been a huge blessing for our family! Leaving your little is never easy, but LHA has become family and my girl looks forward to her days there. They play hard, love big, and she is always learning. They have creative, play-based learning that expands her mind in a fun and engaging way. I cannot say enough positive about our experience and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone!
