  • I see there's a lot of people lying in their reviews. Upon picking my child up, I witnessed an infant hollering to the top of her lungs all while I was waiting for them to get my child situated and packed up. Teachers were not interested in comforting said child and I find that very disturbing! This is NOT ok! It's hard to find good help that has a passion for what they do versus a job for a paycheck. I hope in the near future I don't witness this with my child nor anyone else's.

  • I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BrightStars Academy Daycare and feel obligated to share this so other parents can make an informed decision. My son has repeatedly been made to feel like he is not a priority at this facility. The new owner, Deon Gilbert, has been extremely rude and ignorant in her interactions with me and my family. It became clear very quickly that the wellbeing of the students is not the main concern, money and maintaining the business seem to come first. Recently, my son had a serious incident where he hit his head on the concrete outside on the playground. Instead of showing concern or professionalism, Ms. Gilbert became upset with me and labeled me as “dramatic” simply because I asked to view the camera footage to understand what happened to my child. Any parent would want clarity and reassurance after their child suffers a head injury. Her response was dismissive and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, she was also extremely rude to my family when they came to check on my son and understand the situation. This lack of compassion and respect toward concerned family members was shocking. This was not the first issue. Prior to this incident, my son hurt his knee at daycare and I was never notified. I only discovered the injury after picking him up myself, which raises serious concerns about communication and supervision. I truly believed I was making the right decision by allowing my son to return once the daycare came under new ownership, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, this is now a decision I deeply regret. We also experienced incidents under the previous owners, and it is clear that the problems at this facility go far beyond management changes. For parents considering BrightStars Academy Daycare, I strongly encourage you to reconsider allowing your children to attend.

  • We are really grateful to “Ray of sunshine” family for accepting our daughter when she needed a day care urgently. Special thanks to Miss Bianca and Miss April, we appreciate you. Thank you so much.

  • Absolutely love ROS! My son has attended since he was a baby and the owners, director, and teachers are all amazing! They keep the facility clean/santized and always inform me of anything pertaining to my child.

  • The staff here are AMAZING! Very understanding. My now 5 month old has been attending since she was 6 weeks and I switched my almost 4 year old here and has since learned an everything she should know at almost 4 years old. Both my kids loves their teachers! Nothing but a great experience since we have been attending!!

  • The previous owners was not friendly but since Mrs Ray have been there I have never had a problem or issue at ROS. Every morning when I drop my child off Mrs Trudy always make me feel welcome . I no there there have been a lot of negative comments but in life you need to get to no people for yourself and if it doesn't involve you then it's free to mind your own business but my child love ROS and I do as well because I mainly deal with Breanna and Mrs Trudy. I also feel like it's not just a day care it's a teaching center as well because they have been great with my child. They show me love just by respect and making me feel welcome when i drop my child off and I show it back in return. Despite the negative comments because ROS is a great place.🤩🤩🤩
