  • I’m very concerned about an incident I witnessed involving this daycare’s transportation for school pickup. On one occasion, the staff member responsible for picking up children from school was asleep in the van during the scheduled pickup time. The vehicle had arrived before dismissal, but when it was time to actually collect the children, no one exited the van and no effort was made to pick them up on time. Situations like this raise serious safety and reliability concerns. Parents trust daycare providers to be attentive and responsible, especially when it comes to transportation and supervision. Falling asleep during a scheduled pickup is unacceptable and could potentially put children at risk. I strongly encourage the daycare to address this issue immediately and ensure proper supervision, accountability, and safety measures are in place moving forward.

  • Toured the facility and children were at max capacity per person. So there was a room with like 14 kids and only one adult. It wasn’t even 9am yet and they had a big screen on with a YouTube video so you can imagine what kind of education they receive. I also found this penalty from the MSDH website from 2023 which definitely scared me away. Two teachers were outright hitting children and the owner didn’t fire them until MSDH confirmed everything despite video evidence and testimonies.

  • Excellent staff. They are attentive to your and your child's needs. They are kind, compassionate and have empathy. I was very nervous leaving my kid in someone else's care and did not know what to expect. I am pleased to say that they are doing a good job. My kid used some foul language and had some issues with bullying. They immediately corrected the behavior. My only criticism would be that I wish they had cameras in each room that the parents could watch. My kids are more important to me than my own life, having said that I can understand that there may be some overzealous parents that may give them a hard time over minor issues.

  • We did not have a great experience at the Flowood location. When dropping off my child on his first week he was never acknowledged by his teachers. They never spoke to me nor him to make him feel comfortable, due to him not being comfortable he threw tantrums! He spent 1 week at this facility and was picking up by 10 in the morning 4/5 days he was there because they could not “control him”. On his last day we were called and told they did not think it was going to be a good fit for him. Which is totally fine. I sent 3 emails to the parent/student relation director to ask for a refund for the enrollment fee due to us having to pay another enrollment fee at a different daycare when my son did not even attend hardly that week. No response, when I called she was very rude about the situation. He has since started a new daycare that he throws zero tantrums at & he is acknowledged there & greets us both when we walk in.

  • We’ve loved our time at the Children’s Academy! The teachers and staff are very caring and down to earth. The kids love the activities they plan, especially the fun events and decorations they put up for special occasions and holidays. They make everyone feel welcome.

  • I have a 3 years old girl We enrolled her there 8 months ago and this is the best choice that we got it. She is learning a lot, Mrs Keja taught to my daughter very quick the potty training and she is very lovely with all kids. They have many ways to give the kiddos the most enjoy way to learn and to keep them fun, they have a lot of activities during each season All the staff at the front desk are the kindest and most loving people. Thank you all ♥️
