My grandson went to Monarch Mountain Montessori, and loved it! Adrienne did a great job preparing him for elementary school! He had a successful elementary school experience because of his start at Monarch Mountain!
Patti McGaugheyOct 16, 2025As both a former student and a teacher's assistant, I can confidently say that Monarch Mountain Montessori played a crucial role in shaping my life. Attending the school as a child gave me a strong foundation for academic and personal success. The Montessori approach helped me develop independence, responsibility, and a love for learning, all of which have served me well in college and beyond. As a teacher’s assistant, I saw how the school’s structure and nurturing environment help children not only get ready for school but for life. The balance of consistency and flexibility allows students to explore their interests while building essential skills. The fun, hands-on learning environment makes education engaging, while also fostering confidence and independence. Monarch Mountain Montessori prepares children for both academic challenges and life beyond the classroom, giving them the tools they need to succeed. It’s a wonderful place for any child to grow and thrive.
Aiden KenisonOct 15, 2025We enrolled at Monarch Montessori with high hopes. My son is bright, energetic, and kind. From the start, we struggled with frequent behavior notes and escalating concerns. Staff suggested speech services and OT; we obtained evaluations and he scored above average, which reassured me that this was not the issue. What I observed was a mismatch: my son needed more adult-led structure, predictable transitions, and clear behavioral boundaries than a Montessori environment typically provides. Over time he began saying he felt disliked by his teachers, and drop-offs became stressful for both of us. We transferred to Kinder Sprouts and the contrast has been dramatic: the teachers are openly warm, routines are clear, and he’s thriving. Absolutely no behavior incidents and genuine excitement about school. This experience taught me that program “fit” matters as much as program philosophy. To be fair, Montessori can be excellent for independent, self-paced learners. However, for very active kids, or those who may be neurodivergent and benefit from tighter scaffolding, this setting may not offer enough structure. I’m grateful we found a better match, but disappointed it didn’t work out here.
Caitlin DreesenOct 15, 2025We just moved over from DKZ and this place is already incredible. My son felt comfortable immediately which is not always the case for him. They take such good care of the kiddos. He is always so clean and happy when we pick him up. They are organized and I just love their method and process.

dax hoovestalJun 13, 2025We love Monarch Mountain! The staff works so hard to do what’s best for kids. It feels good to know your children in an environment where they are loved, learning so much, and appropriately challenged.
