My kids have been attending since 2023 and the quality of care could not be better even if they tried. The staff is absolutely phenomenal, especially with the care they provide my son who is non-verbal autistic. We had come to FSLC after a very traumatic experience at a prior daycare, and the staff at FSLC has really restored our trust in having our kids in a daycare facility. They truly love and care for every single child in their care.
Mercedes HarrisonMar 27, 2026I can not tell you how happy my boys are at First Steps. They had been at another daycare for quite a few years and we were just having more and more issues. Not here. The boys are so much happier. They WANT to go to daycare to see their friends and teachers. So much happier at the end of the day when I go get them. No sad faces, not fighting to go in the morning. I dreaded having to make a move-but I am SO very happy that we did. I am so thrilled with both rooms the boys are in. You walk in and can just feel the good vibes. The kids are smiling and playing together. It was night and day from their last daycare.
Kristin WestMar 20, 2026We’ve been with First Steps Learning Center for over four years, and I can’t say enough good things about this amazing daycare. From day one, they’ve provided a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where my child has truly thrived. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, treating each child as their own. They’ve built strong relationships not only with the kids but also with the parents, and their open communication gives us constant peace of mind. They welcome any questions or any suggestions. The center is always clean, organized, and safe, which was a top priority for us when choosing care. Their curriculum is both educational and engaging, with age-appropriate activities that keep the kids learning while having fun. There’s always a variety of things to do, from creative arts and sensory play to field trips and seasonal events. Each day is something fun and new for the kids to experience. One thing that really stood out is their ability to accommodate different needs, including offering a space for third party on-site therapy options, which has been a huge support for many families. Thanks to First Steps, my child has not only grown academically and socially but also built lifelong friendships that we truly cherish. If you’re looking for a daycare that combines heart, structure, and real learning, this is the place.
Emily SchroederJul 10, 2025The staff that works here try at least. Children come home with cuts and rashes and these people don't notify parents. Talked to a couple of girls that work here&they said they haven't been payed in 2 whole months. Disgusting to treat your staff thus way.
Luke SchrantzMar 1, 2025Horrible daycare! I took my 3 year old here, dropped her off without blisters and picked her up with three blisters around her mouth. I took her to the doctor's office and her pediatrician let me know her blisters were from a injury. They didn't notify me that she got hurt and the daycare provider tried harassing me on facebook. I wouldn't recommend taking your child here. The staff lacks professionalism and don't get me started with the daycare provider. Advocate for your child at all times, I'm very happy that I did.
Katisha BradyAug 4, 2024This place isn't safe! For strangers to be able to walk through the building is not cool with me. My child don't attend but I walk them this building cu I was holding bags and a parent held door open for me. Then not one staff requested a name or anything just it can go all the way to the back. They need yo rethink and reirraite the rules then FOLLOW THEM! Also kids running around freely u could have touch one, knowing my job doesn't unsure you really know me do better, I did have stop myself from speaking to free kids! 2 stars cuz the place was clean otherwise I wouldn't advise this
