  • Couldn’t ask for a better daycare/school for our children. The owners of this daycare work here day in and day out and pour their hearts into it. I am so thankful we switched our children here. There’s no TV time or tablets that check the box for “teaching” our kids. The staff interacts and are constantly doing fun activities, arts and crafts etc. with the kids. This place is structured, holds our kids accountable and teaches them manners. All things we are very grateful for because that’s what we try to do at home as well. 👍🏼👍🏼

  • We have an infant son and a school age daughter who attend. We love how the staff treats the children with respect, love and kindness. My infant son's teacher utilizes a secure app that shows me every time he lays down for a nap, when he wakes, diaper changes, feedings and photos. The staff understands my anxiety being a 'helicopter' mother and help me by keeping me informed. Our school age daughter wishes to be the 1st child there so that she may welcome all of her friends each morning and if she had it her way she would be the last one to leave. She loves that she has choices when it is time to play. The staff are all highly educated, have worked there for a long period of time and well, are adults. The passion the staff members all have show in the faces of the children when the parents come to pick them up. We are blessed to have found childcare that makes us feel like part of their family.

  • Aside from Jeanine, our experience with Building Blocks was fine. We loved our son's teachers, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Alison, but sadly Jeanine's horrible interactions and communication style with the children overshadowed our pleasant experiences. Every morning we would hear her shouting at the school aged kids, asking condescending questions and just being nasty in general, usually with a relative's baby on her hip. Just not the environment I want my child to be around at all, let alone first thing in the morning. We've brought this to the attention of the owner months ago, who is also her mother, but based on my most recent experience, it doesn't seem like anything has changed.

  • Walking my daughter into daycare my kids mom and I middle of nowhere my daughter barely had a chance to sit down with her blanket when she was approached and yelled at by staff member Janine or however she spells it to go over and put her blanket up in the cubby. We had just walked into the building and were getting signed in, she did not approach her or us with a "Hello" or "Good Morning" I feel as though when we are supposed to be trusting these individuals with our children for the day we would like to see them being excited and happy to see them in the morning not yelling orders at them right away when they see them and we had just dropped her off. The owners sons wife will drop their kids off and they will have toys or blankets in their hands and be allowed to keep them but right away if my daughter has anything she gets told to go out it away right away. I have called and requested to talk to Janine and I did speak with ReEtta (sp) she informed me she would see what is going on and get to the bottom of it and that my daughter Shyla will be safe. I hope by leaving my honest review it does not in any way reflect on my kids mom who works there and that she will not be reprimanded or fired over my personal review or that my daughter gets kicked out of the daycare. I understand maybe she is having a off/bad day because it is not always how she is but today was the over the top. Overall I am happy and my daughter enjoys going here everyday however I think some staff need to reevaluate how they approach a child especially if they are willing to do it in front of the parents makes me worry about when I'm not there.

  • The staff is absolutely amazing. We could not be happier that our child is here. Knowing he is in safe hands if a very good feeling. They provide breakfast, snack twice a day, outside activities indoor fun and so much more!

  • Very friendly staff and children! Secured entry so not just anyone can go waltzing in. Lots of fun toy stations!
