In a few months my second child will be leaving Foundations to attend Kindergarten. Both of my children started at Foundations at the age of 18 months all the way until it was time for school. Foundations has played a pivotal role in shaping them into the amazing humans that they are and in preparing them for their future in elementary school. My kids know how to play nicely and support their peers, they are academically ahead of what’s expected to attend kindergarten, they know how to talk about their emotions and when to ask for help, they are excited to learn and have truly had a real jump start at life all because of the care they’ve received at Foundations. They’ve always been encouraged to be themselves. The staff there is like family to our kids and I couldn’t recommend them enough! On top of all of that, their rates are affordable and I know they pay their teachers well because many of them have been there since my first child started there 7 years ago. Foundations provided me as a parent with peace-of-mind and if you are a parent yourself, you know that is priceless.
Megan EllenwoodMay 27, 2026I have been taking my kids here for 3 years and I highly recommend this daycare! The staff truly cares about the kids and the kids are happy! Both of my kids loved their teachers and were happy to go and happy when I picked them up each day! They were ready for kindergarten when it was time, thanks to all they learned at daycare. This daycare is progressive, loving, caring and inclusive! I can’t say enough about how happy I have been with the high quality of care they provide! This daycare is a gem here in Lincoln! 💚
Stephanie RoyAug 10, 2024Amazing facility with wonderful teachers and staff. My son struggles with some separation anxiety and he has always been helped and reassured that he is in the right place. As parents, my husband and I have always felt comfortable leaving our child there and would recommend them to anyone looking for great childcare. It’s hard finding the right fit for your child and leaving them in someone else’s’ care but the staff makes it easy and keeps you informed on the brightwheel app. I appreciate the time they spend with my kiddo while I’m stuck at work. Thank you for all you have done for our family.

I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for good quality care for their children! Travis and Maegan are amazing!
Josie SheberMay 14, 2022Our little girl has been going to Foundations for about 6 months now, and we simply could not be happier. She is excited to go play and learn! The staff are lovely, and unlike some childcare centers, I have observed exceptionally low turn-over. The staff know our child and love her. I have never worried about her being safe or happy when she is at Foundations. During her time at Foundations, we have also seen an abundance of growth in her development. Obviously, all kids grow in their development over 6 months, but I think the small family-like setting, the student-centered learning, and the emphasis on play have made a world of difference!
Kate ReglerApr 14, 2022We absolutely LOVE Foundations! The kiddos feel loved, cared for, and respected by their teachers. They learn so much, just from being offered an environment that promotes their natural way of learning. I really like how involved Foundations is with the community, and how they make every effort to connect with their students and their families. The staff has never hesitated to take on the complex medical needs that our kiddos come with, and that's HUGE! Also major in my book is communication; and that's another area that I have been pleased with. Definitely recommend!
