Absolutely the worst place to send your child, not to mention many testimonies from past teachers there who have not only been mistreated but have seen horrific things happen to the children that were at the center. If you want bruises on your kids arms or your child to be picked up by one arm only, then go ahead and send them here!
User 007Mar 25, 2024We have been very impressed with LHA. It has been a 1000% improvement over the last facility we used. We love the app that they use to check in/out the kiddos every day. It updates what their meals are for the day, diaper/potty breaks, any "ouch" reports or behavior incidents with included photos when warranted. They are very quick to respond to questions and concerns! Even the toddler rooms are still run more like a preschool setting with different themes and learning objectives. The boys are very happy and come home very tired!
Rhiannon HoferFeb 2, 2023We are thankful for LHA. Their communication is great and I love how much they work on social and emotion skills with the kids. My youngest son is also so much more independent with trying to put on his coat and shoes and I know that is bc LHA tries to teach them all those independent skills they need to learn.
natasha bromwichJan 31, 2023I worked at LHA a couple of years ago and I started to send my son here when he was 6 months old. I love LHA, and so does my son. I deeply appreciate the teachers being nice and so caring, and Shannon really cares about the kids and works with the parents. The facility is well throughout, with rooms separated to keep the ages apart but structured well so that the teachers are able to help each other out. My son is happy and that makes us happy parents.
Thao Nguyen McFarlandJan 31, 2023I am amazed on how much my son has learned here. As a parent, I feel like I’m aware of this, but am frequently surprised by my preschooler on what he knows! The staff are friendly and do well with communicating with me as well. The owner ensures all regulations are followed and that all children at the center are safe. I must admit, sometimes the regulations are annoying and frustrating, but the owner does awesome at explaining what a specific regulation is if I ask. Both my children have gone to Lighthouse since they were 6 weeks old, and I have been nothing but happy with the care provided to them!
Alexandra TrevinoJan 31, 2023Our daughter has been going here for two years. We seen great feedback from the 10 week mark till present. Care for the babies in their own room (No shoes allowed, common sense). The feedback with age appropriate age steps and social behavior levels has been very nice. All staff members are willing to answer questions and concerns (when timing is appropriate as children are like herding cats). The consistency of rules from baby till present has been great. Our daughter understands what is appropriate behavior and is able to associate those rules with new environments. She is not a follower and beats to her own drum. I enjoy seeing this embraced. The imagination and problem solving skills are pushed with all children. Everyday we get feedback on what has been in the classroom and any special events that happened. The majority of the time children are with similar aged peers, but do get to mix and experience other age behaviors. When we were blessed with our second child, our daughter only wanted to help. I contribute most of this to LHA in teaching/modeling appropriate behavior. Our second child is bound to go here too.
