They knowingly violated a court order. They are brand new, not organized, and not consistent. Poor time management, multiple times throughout the summer the school aged kids would be late from returning from a field trip. In my opinion it’s kind of dumb to have any field trip go past 4pm. I’ve had to wait for 45 mins to an hour at the center. Beyond irritating. Disrespectful behavior towards certain children(singles kids out), three year olds are getting sent home for wrestling, no warning, no preventative steps were taken, different teachers in the classroom everyday. Kids need consistency. Some teachers are very nice and friendly, others not so much. Half the time they don’t know what’s going on or how the kids day/behavior has been. No turnover between the teachers. Not a whole lot of arts and crafts being done. Maybe a couple times a week. My kid was sent home in a diaper multiple times, he is completely toilet trained. I get it, maybe they have them wear diapers at nap time, I should not be picking my kid up around 3:30 -4:00pm in a diaper, when nap time ended over an hour ago. Caring for kids is very difficult, it’s a lot to juggle, I understand things happen. Not all teachers here are bad. There are lovely people within project future. There’s just a lot of growth needed and I’m sure they don’t get paid what they deserve. There’s nothing outside the center for them to play with/on, in their “play area”. Kids benefit from outside play, they miss out on a lot of opportunity here. The location is also a pain if you get stuck in the afternoon rush hour. You’ll get stuck at the 84th and O street light for a hot minute. There’s only one way in and one way out of this location too. No outlet. Although, I will say the Casey’s is very conveniently located next to project future and that’s nice at times. The positive things about this place is its potential, rooms are very large in size, and brand new facilities that were designed well. I’ve used three different daycare centers in Lincoln. This one was by far the worst experience I’ve had. So much so that I now have to share my experience on a google review. Which I never do.
