  • During our search for childcare for our firstborn, a few of my coworkers told me that their children’s favorite teacher, Audrey, was opening her own childcare center. That recommendation gave us the confidence to enroll our family, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Both of our children attended Inspiring Minds Childcare starting at just 3 months old. From day one, Audrey and her team provided exceptional care and made us feel like part of their family. They created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our children could grow, learn, and thrive. Even after graduating from the program, our kids are still incredibly excited to see their teachers whenever they have the chance. It’s obvious how much Audrey and her team meant—and continue to mean—to them. That kind of lasting connection speaks volumes about the love and dedication they poured into our children. Our children not only loved their time at Inspiring Minds, but they also learned so much and transitioned into kindergarten with confidence and ease. We are forever grateful for the foundation Audrey and her team helped build. I wholeheartedly recommend Inspiring Minds Childcare to any family looking for a place where their children will be loved, challenged, and truly cared for.

  • My nephew has only been there not even a month..3 weeks or so, his parents were only notified once about a biting incident (of my nephew biting another kid) and got told at a pick up (a different day) another child bit him (my nephew got bit by a child there, on a different day) and now my nephew is being kicked out permanently for behavior and biting and need I mention my nephew just turned 2. I have 2 children myself almost every kid goes through that faze, doesn't make it ok or right but how can you permanently kick out a child after only 1 time of addressing the parents AND for something another kid was doing to him???? Who wasn't watching them?? Why is one kid getting treated different then the others??? What happen to the other kid who bit my nephew??? Why are we not having good communication with the parents about incidents in detail that happen to our children at the time it happens. As it seems no one likes to talk about it when it occurs and give people the proper 3 strikes and your out and if you don't have enough people to watch all the kids then that is a problem for your company not the children's problem. I'd also like to mention I've never seen my nephew kick and scream and throw himself around and act like a menace yes every kid has there moments but he never had issues at the last daycare he was at..... not a happy auntie over here and disappointed in this daycare facility.

  • UPDATE: We are disappointed and sad that after a short 4 1/2 months, our children will not be returning to Inspiring Minds. After careful consideration, we have made this decision due to several ongoing concerns. Most significantly, there have been multiple instances where one of our children was injured by another child. In these situations, we were not provided with incident reports, nor were we given sufficient information or any information at all regarding the circumstances that led to the injuries, and we had to inquire with the staff about what happened after talking with our child. After speaking on multiple occasions with the owner, Audrey, about what was happening, the following conversation was the last straw for us. Audrey, “We want the children to use their words.” Myself, “I understand, but I also don’t want my child in a toddler fight club.” Audrey, “I understand, but the children still need to use their words.” We read the reviews after our child was frequently injured and quickly realized where other parents who gave honest reviews were coming from. Out of the 5-star reviews, several are from the owner's children or staff who work at the daycare. Additionally, there have been occasions when the child-to-staff ratio was not in compliance with state guidelines at drop-off. On those mornings, I remained with my children until additional staff arrived, which resulted in my being late for work. We are also concerned about the environment in the Panda Room, where one of our children often spent time. The room is frequently very hot and lacks adequate airflow, raising concerns about potential heat-related health issues during the summer months. While this was not an easy decision, we feel it is the best choice for our family. We sincerely appreciate the staff members who showed kindness, care, and support to our children during their time at Inspiring Minds. There were a few great staff members, and others not as much. Original review: Audrey and Jay are the wonderful owners of Inspiring Minds! From our very first messages to the personal tour, they were kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful about our children’s needs. They carefully placed our boys in classrooms that were the best fit for their age and developmental level, which gave us immediate confidence in our decision. The classrooms are beautifully organized and designed for both learning and play. Class sizes are appropriate and meet state standards, which provides added peace of mind. They also use a parent communication app to share updates and photos throughout the day — receiving those pictures while I’m at work truly makes my day. The center offers classroom cameras, which I appreciate as an added layer of transparency. It’s helpful to know there’s a resource available if clarification is ever needed. The playground is fully fenced, shaded by trees, and not visible from the busy road. I especially value that it’s accessed directly from inside the building, so children aren’t walking through a parking lot to get outside. We are having a wonderful experience and highly recommend Inspiring Minds to any family looking for a caring, safe, and well-run environment for their children.

  • Well, I am going to write another AMAZING review about this place because truly I can’t say anything more besides amazing things about this center. I found this center almost 4 years ago and truly can’t say anything more positive about this place. From the transfer for my oldest going to this place and being diagnosed with ADHD and she fit right in. My son who has been going here since he was 1 has been nothing but thriving and getting ready to go to kindergarten this fall. The center has the best teachers considering how tough it is to keep teachers in a childcare setting. I have viewed different centers before this one and truly can’t say anything more than positivity. The owner Audrey and jay have worked there butts off especially for this new center making it what it is now. My son is super attached to me and never wants to leave my side but when I drop him off no issues since day one and when it comes to pick up he doesn’t want to leave he wants to stay. (remember there will always be those few rotten parents out there who don’t get there way to try to ruin a good reputation but your heads up guys your amazing and truly I am going to be so sad that my son is graduating this summer)

  • I trust Inspiring minds with my entire world and my whole heart every day, my daughter. She is now 4 and has been attending since she was 1 1/2, I remember being so nervous and constantly checking the app and being so grateful for every diaper change and feeding update and seeing her smiling and playing everyday at pickup slowly relieved all my anxiety! I truly love Audrey and the staff and Inspiring minds and know that my daughter was divinely guided to be in her care. I will surely cry when it’s time for her to head to kindergarten. I could go on and on but I would 100% recommend this child care center to anyone!

  • My daughter had the exact experience as the review from Taylor. She was told she was a danger to the class and was dismissed from the childcare facility if you can even call it that. They singled her out and tried to tell me she dI’d not have ADHD because ”she (audrey) has kids with adhd and they don’t act like this”. She was diagnosed with this by a psychiatrist. I asked on many occasions for the staff and director/ owner Audrey to meet with riverbend to make a plan on how to move forward with my daughter’s behavior. Audrey would switch the conversation and state “she didn’t want to stress me out”. They left my daughter with her husband at the front entrance on her last day which made me incridably uncomfortable. Audrey also told me just as Taylor was told that “no other children behave like mine does.“ Weird Audrey, since another child was told the exact same thing. They told me that she could no longer go to the childcare center through a mere text. Her other daycare which we returned to despite the distance from my new job is helping return my bubbly 4 year to who she was prior to going here. My daughter never acted this way prior to going here. I worry about what happened her there since she is too young to be able to tell me. Most of her behavior is typical for a 4 year old. Even riverbend community mental health confirmed this for me. They hire young kids who do nothing but sit on their phones all day. I walked in on staff doing their makeup despite children being in the building already. I witnessed children in the halls unattended. When my daughter returned to her old daycare the staff and children cheered to see her again. When she left they sent her a box stuffed with gifts as a goodbye gift. her therpist tells me she’s a “treasure of a young girl”. They tack on an extra charge for those on state assistance which our current/old daycare never did. I asked Audrey many times what the cost of care would be and she told me the same as the other childcare since i had assistance. this was not true. And I didn’t find out until afterwards despite basically begging for transparency as a single mom of two.
