Newton Learning Center

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Newton Learning Center. Both of my daughters attend, and from the very beginning, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. As a parent bringing in a very young child, I was honestly hesitant at first. It’s never easy leaving your baby with someone else. But the staff made me feel so comfortable right away—they were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Now that she’s older, she runs in with open arms and greets the staff with excitement, which says everything. Every single day, we’re greeted with a friendly “good morning,” and when we leave, they always make it a point to say goodbye to each of my girls individually. It’s such a small detail, but it means so much. Everyone knows my daughters by name, creating a welcoming, family-like environment. The staff is truly incredible—kind, patient, and deeply invested in the children. My daughters absolutely love going to school, which as a parent is the best feeling. What also sets Newton Learning Center apart is their commitment to enrichment. They regularly bring in extracurricular activities like soccer, gymnastics, guest speakers, and music teachers, which adds so much fun and value to the kids’ experience. I couldn’t recommend Newton Learning Center more. It’s comforting to know my girls are not only learning, but genuinely cared for every single day.

Our daughter has attended Newton Learning Center for over a year. We enrolled just after Cara took over as director and have had an incredibly positive experience. We were looking for somewhere that could accommodate longer days, while still maintaining 2 days a week for preschool/pre K. This was the perfect fit. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. Their communication has been great over the last year as Cara has transitioned in new programs and curriculum. Overall we have really loved it.

Cara, the new owner, is wonderful, attentive, flexible, and a good communicator. NLC goes the extra mile to make my toddler feel welcome and loved. The teachers are kind and skilled. They’ve got great hours and are fairly priced.

As a first-time mom, sending my baby to daycare was honestly one of the most stressful decisions I’ve had to make—and I can confidently say that Newton Learning Center has exceeded every expectation. From the initial phone conversation to dropping her off on her first day, Cara and my daughter’s teachers made me feel supported, informed, and completely at ease. It’s very clear that the wellbeing of the kids in their care is the top priority at NLC. My daughter is in the infant room with Ms. Kim and Ms. Rachel, and they send me consistent updates and pictures throughout the day to let me know how she’s doing. Not to mention, each morning when I drop her off, she’s all smiles and giggles! It’s obvious she loves her days there. I couldn’t recommend Newton Learning Center more highly, and I feel lucky that my daughter gets to learn and grow with them over the next few years!

My little one started with NLC at 15 months- outside of family she had only been cared for by her nanny and I was quite nervous to try out daycare. We started with one day per week during the summer and my girl love it from day one! In the fall we picked up 3 days and have been super happy with the experience! My girl has learned and grown so much since she started and I love to see her in a learning environment like NLC. I particularly love that the owner, Cara, is present and highly involved every day- with her own toddler son being in my daughter’s class. She’s quite invested in the day to day and continuously adding new items and incorporating new activities.
