8 years ago my son began his schooling at Over the Rainbow Preschool. His journey, growth, and confidence grew immensely upon starting. With the love and support from Ms. Missy, Ms. Danielle, Ms. Judy, and Ms, Robyn- my son flourished and grew into himself. He not only learned academically but emotionally as well, from tying his shoes to treating others kindly, they helped him grow into the wonderful human he is today. With this experience, I decided to bring my daughter in once she was born. She started in the infant room, made her way through the young toddler room, and is now in the 2 year old classroom with Ms. Missy. My daughter is endlessly loved, supported, and her speech has improved immensely since being with Missy. My daughter is a tough one, she tests the boundaries and has a wild side. Missy has more than helped my daughter and even myself in understanding how to react to my daughter’s personality and quirks, each incident was met with understanding, love and patience. I am forever thankful to Over the Rainbow and the entire staff there, for their hand in helping my children grow into the little humans they are today. A very special to Ms. Corrie for supporting my children and providing us with a safe and enriching environment for my children to be themselves. This was and is our home away from home, and always will be.
B GuinazzoFeb 25, 2026Very mixed feelings about this place my daughter started in the infant room and it was great she moved over to Young toddlers and it was good as well. Then she went down to the 2 year old classroom and it was a horrendous experience. The toddler teacher missy was very brash and very condescending when speaking with parents and addressing their concerns. The 3/4 year old teacher was absolutely amazing. We only stayed so long because I wanted my daughter to experience the 3 and 4 year old teacher. We pulled my son before he went down to the teacher that we had issues with. I would definitely look elsewhere.
Alyssa SaltzmanMay 3, 2025Very nice daycare with an in-home feel. The teachers are fantastic and genuinely care about your child and their growth! We are very grateful for them all. We love Ms Kerry and Gina so much!
HeatherApr 2, 2025My daughter who is now 8, had a great experience here. So when we had our son, we trusted the place our daughter had grown up with. I regret that so much today. The teachers had all started making snarky comments that were sent home with him daily. We picked him up in the winter without socks on his feet or putting him back in his jacket before he was handed off to us outside. We weren’t allowed in on a few random occasions post covid. I called and spoke to his teacher in the infant room and she said it was not their responsibility to put his socks back on prior to handing him back to us outside. The kids often take their socks off and walk around without them and she would not be responsible for putting them back on prior to sending him outside in the cold. His clothes, bibs, etc were lost on a regular occasion. If they took a sweatshirt off his back and couldn’t see the label, they’d toss it in the yellow donation bin out front. We had to bring all his food in a labeled lunch box but everything including fruit(banana/apple)had to be labeled. To come in to get your child you have to wear a mask but staff does not. Tried talking to the director on several occasions but she never addressed any of my concerns. It was all left in the teachers hands who yelled at me, hung up, wrote nasty notes and constant nitpicking over everything. I actually had to send my son in with a note on his last week asking that they stop taking their anger out on my son to which I had no response. It’s gone downhill. Very much saddens me, that I didn’t leave sooner. That myself, my son and his father had to go through so much drama brought on by this daycare. Not worth saving the extra money to go elsewhere. I never want to feel so uneasy when I pay them to watch my child.
Jennifer PettitJun 25, 2022So I'm going to put this review on it becuse my mother will not, although it should be said. This daycare was great after a while but there was a few problems before my baby sister left, My mom always would get a call when she was at work for her to be picked up saying "She doesn't look good" not just once. They started doing less activities, hardly anyone payed attention to her just like she wasn't even there. Near the end around when my sister was going to leave to go to a new day care a rumor went around about it, she had a week left of that daycare before my sister moved to the new one, My mother walked in to drop her off and was told by one of the teachers that today was her last day, that she wasn't allowed to come in for her last week. My mom was shocked or more surprised, she went to work afterwards and was honestly scared to leave her there, after all that had happened. So left work to pick her up. I'm not saying there's problems for everyone but there was one for my mother and sister.
