Sapling Acres Preschool

Our child has been attending Sapling Acres for the better part of a year, from when it was an in-home school to its current larger location in Keene. Both have been great experiences, from the creative outdoor play opportunities to the new, ever-improving classroom space. The school is clean, comfortable, and so welcoming. Every employee I've interacted with has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and communicative, especially Nick and Alicia. They're always generous with their end-of-the-day updates when I pick up my son, and he's a fount of happy, hilarious stories about his day. My child has been thriving with Nick and Alicia; with their help, in the last year he was quickly potty trained and has blossomed while socializing with other children his age. He asks every night, "Is tomorrow a school day?" and the sheer joy in his face when we get to tell him, "Yes!" is enough to affirm that he's in the right place.

My grandson has been attending Sapling Acres for just about a year now. Nick and Alicia have put together an amazing program that offers all children a SAFE, creative, inquisitive environment were this kiddo has thrived. They are both incredibly dedicated and passionate about the care of each child. My grandson is so happy there, he cannot get there quick enough in the morning and is immediately welcomed with kind, loving arms - whether that be a hug or a big high 5. We get pictures and updates through out the entire day of what they are doing which is such a treat! I know he is being incredibly well cared for while he is there and have never questioned that!

I enrolled my son at the new Keene facility this past month, and truthfully I only have great things to say. Initially we did a tour to ensure this decision would be a good fit for everyone. I have always been very protective of my son, and would never EVER let him be in an environment where I can tell he is uncomfortable. He also, luckily, is VERY verbal about when things feel ‘weird or bad’ to him. Upon meeting both of the owners and staff, we felt so welcomed and were met with nothing but kindness and transparency. The space was bright and open, and the preschool room had many aspects that my son was immediately drawn to. Outside is a beautifully fenced-in play area with many different structures, sand boxes, and toys for the kids to enjoy. After any water table use, they ensure he is changed into his comfy dry clothing. I also receive many candid pictures of him with his friends - smiling and having a great time every day. Which, as a parent, is REALLY what I look forward to throughout my day. Again, truly both of the owners have impressed me with their attitudes and willingness to adapt for each child. Nick puts the BIGGEST smile on my son’s face each morning, and he looks forward to school because of it. **We were made aware AT the tour of the current accusations at their last facility that have since been remedied. I researched plenty, know the full story from both sides, and do sympathize immensely with those who were impacted in any way. However, so far I’m impressed with the Keene Sapling Acres I have come to know. Please take the opportunity, have an open mind, and come see for yourself that they have truly made the mandated changes. The state wouldn’t allow them to continue if they hadn’t. I’m a picky mom with no shame about it, and from what I’ve seen, and I’ve seen MANY daycares in the past, we found a fantastic one. Thank you Alicia, Nick, and the rest of the staff for your willingness to own the accusations, take responsibility and yet still work hard to be the amazing facility that you are. This too shall pass. We appreciate you all!

At 70 years old, with four children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild, I have to say that this is the most attentive, caring, pre school I have ever dealt with. My one on one dealings with Nick have been so heartfelt and caring, I can understand why my grandson loves going there so much. He is always smiling and excited when I drop him off, and excited to tell me about his day when I pick him up.

We've had a great experience with Sapling Acres. Our daughter's development has skyrocketed, and she has a blast every day with her friends. Nick and Alicia and the other teachers are fantastic.
