Marisol is great with children I love how she encourages them
Evelyn LeyvaMar 30, 2026Marisol is so great with children, she loves encouraging kids to learn. She is very knowledgeable and is very patient. She has a child that is almost 5, Aiden. She is such a wonderful parent. She shows care and empathy and uses good judgement. I recommend the Cradles and Crayons in Anthony to anyone looking for excellent child care.
Cecilia OlsonMar 19, 2026Unprofessional Conduct and Service Denial After Enrollment I recently visited Cradles & Crayons Daycare to inquire about enrolling my children. The initial meeting with the director and owner was positive; they assured me that services could commence promptly and provided enrollment paperwork, requesting personal information, including Social Security numbers. After submitting the completed documents, I sought additional details from an employee who collected them. I inquired about the meal schedule, specifically the frequency of meals and whether dinner was served around 5 PM before closing. I also asked if the surveillance cameras were functional and if footage could be reviewed in case of incidents. Additionally, I was given a picture policy form indicating that children’s photos were posted on social media platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. I expressed to the employee that I did not want my children’s photos posted on social media but was comfortable with their pictures being displayed within the facility for visuals, work recognition, and cues. During our conversation, the director mentioned that the facility aimed to achieve a 5-star rating in early 2025. Given this goal, I expected the center to meet high standards of communication and responsiveness to parental concerns. During a conversation with some after-school caregivers, I mentioned that my children are well-behaved and unlikely to exhibit aggressive behavior. I also shared my approach to discipline, emphasizing that I do not resort to yelling but instead communicate at their eye level. As an early childhood educator, I was taken aback when, the following day, an employee informed me that the director and owner had decided to deny services. This decision was made after collecting our personal information and without my children attending even a single day at the facility. The reason provided was that my inquiries and expectations were deemed excessive, and they suggested I seek another provider. I find it unprofessional and concerning that a daycare would withdraw agreed-upon services merely because a parent seeks to be well-informed about their child’s care environment. This experience has left me questioning the transparency and reliability of Cradles & Crayons Daycare.
