  Absolutely love this school. I have registered both of my children here and I couldn’t be happier. Mirna and her staff have gone above and beyond when it comes to answering questions and hearing possible concerns and registering. They are amazing with communication, which can be hard here in this small town. Our options are limited when it comes to pre schools in Ruidoso. Any parent wants the best of their children. For mine this is the best place for them to be. I recommend this preschool to anyone who is searching!

  I’m writing as a mom of a 3 yo who has been at Imagination Station since he was 18 months old and we have loved it! My son has made so many good little friends in this time. Our town, unfortunately, deals with a lot of natural disasters, which none of us can control, but imagination station has been really great at making sure that our kids are safe during these times and they know that if we’re stuck, they’re gonna take care of our kids until we can get there. They’ve also been open and honest with their communication about when there’s concerns for these disasters and so maybe they have to close on a day that we weren’t anticipating. Of course it’s not ideal, but it’s for the safety of our children. I also never worry that my child is in danger there. Imagination station is associated with the Methodist Church and they have chapel once a week and I think it’s amazing that my son gets to not only go to school to learn, but also gets to learn about Christianity. They also value playtime in children, which I believe is truly important. Granted, there has been turnover over the past year there, but they have done a really good job at recruiting and actively hiring for these positions to ensure that our children good and caring teachers. I would recommend Imagination Station To anyone. We truly appreciate the teachers there and are very happy with the daycare we have received. The role that daycare teachers and program administrators take on is not an easy job but a very important one to make sure that the kids are cared for and enjoying their time there and I believe they are doing a great job!

  As a father, selecting the right preschool for my son was one of the most important decisions my wife and I faced. The transition into a new environment was made remarkably smooth, thanks to the dedication and attentiveness of the teachers and administrative team. I was especially impressed by how they took the time to understand each child’s personality and learning style, ensuring that every child felt seen and supported. Over the past year, I have watched my son grow in so many meaningful ways. His vocabulary has expanded significantly, his social skills have blossomed, and he often surprises us at home with songs, facts, and stories he’s learned in class. What stands out most is his enthusiasm—he wakes up each morning excited to go to school, which speaks volumes about the experience he is having there. I also appreciate the school’s commitment to communication and transparency. We regularly receive updates, photos, and progress reports that keep us informed and involved in his learning journey.   Great people! But this daycare is never open they close for everything how are two working parents supposed to be able to work when this day care is always closed! When I was in day care it was always open hardly ever closed now they close for the littlest of things plus the schedule they follow could be made more efficient

  I had a very concerning experience with the director of this daycare. After receiving conflicting information, I called multiple times including once under a different name and was told truthfully that this is not a certified VPK program. However, when I spoke with the director directly and mentioned that I had a court order requiring enrollment in an official VPK program, she attempted to mislead me by implying that they were one, even though she clearly knew that wasn't the case. She even said it was “the same” and couldn’t explain the difference, which makes me wonder if she’s either ignorant or deliberately dishonest. Either way, it’s troubling. It became apparent that she was trying to protect one of the parents involved in a custody agreement. If you are a parent with any sort of legal custody arrangement, I would strongly advise against placing your child here. The director chose sides and acted in a way that ignored the legal agreement. When I told her I would be reporting this behavior, she contacted the other parent and claimed I was being aggressive and threatening which was not only untrue but could have impacted my custody case. Her actions were unethical and dismissive of the serious implications. If you need clarification on what this daycare is licensed or approved for, I recommend contacting the ECECD directly. Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum, especially when children and legal matters are involved unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

  My 3-year-old has been attending Imagination Station for the past three months, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. From day one, the staff has been incredibly attentive and welcoming—not just to my child, but to me as a parent as well. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the kids and love what they do. One of the things I appreciate most is the consistent communication. I receive thoughtful updates during the day, which gives me peace of mind and makes me feel connected to what my child is doing. Whether it's a quick message or a photo of an activity, it really makes a difference. The environment is warm, friendly, and truly feels like a second home. There hasn’t been a single concern or issue since we started, and that’s something I don’t take for granted. I would highly recommend Imaginations Station to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and well-organized daycare. It’s been a fantastic fit for our family!
