This childcare facility is great. I honestly have nothing bad to say. It’s obvious that they prioritize the safety and well being of every single child attending. I’ve spoken to many parents also attending and I’ve never heard of anything different. All the food is made fresh every day, they are constantly cleaning, I’m notified even about the smallest incident and shown camera footage as well, and the staff is always respectful towards me and my child. One year for Christmas they had a big party for the children with a jumpy house and hired a Santa to give out gifts to all the children, even the ones who didn’t attend the facility. It’s good to see that they are doing their part in helping the children in the community. Milestone Montessori takes pride in what they do and are always trying to improve in response to any criticism they receive. My child loves it here and so do I. Some of the teachers there speak little English but are always trying to learn when they can, and I honestly thinks it’s great because since my child has been submerged in that environment he has picked up a lot of Spanish. I’ve never had any issues with communication either. What’s important to me is not the language spoken at the facility or the location but the care that my child receives and they have always shown to exceed my expectations. Thank you Laura and Ivan for everything you and your staff does! Highly recommend!
Isaiah MartinezApr 2, 2025Couldn't agree more with Stephanie below. Their communication is horrible. They only have one full bilingual teacher. Yasine thank you for all you do! I seriously hope your wages reflect that for your skills! The location is horrible explains why you get the service you do! I have complained at least twice of picking my daughter up soild. 1 of which I turned around and told Ivan(owner). They couldnt even tell me the last time she was changed fed ect. So they started implementing a daily chart. 2. I had picked them up in a rush to head to a dental appointment and to no surprise she was solid. The dentist receptionist and I looked at each other and shook our heads. Reported it to director. Not to mention majority of the time they applied diamper rash cream. I have walked in a seen them have my daughter in her bed area with a bottle and blanket to feed herself and when they seen me they hurried and grabbed her. Noticed that after 4:30pm all kids where in one room with barley anything to do. Complained about it and they did work on it. Recently a father picked up his children. He noticed his child had a small object in his mouth. He was struggling to get it out his child's mouth. He asked Ivan how the child got it and of course Ivan shrugged it off and made an excuse that is probably something they where working on in class. Both the parent and I looked at each other and shook our head because what how is that not concerning to him it's a choking hazard! They seem to think it's ok for the owner (Ivan) to making joking remarks to an 8 yr old, give out snacks in front of her face, ignore her and most recent use his hands to redirect her. As an adult but most importantly an owner you should never belittle a kid no matter their nationality gender or behavior. As Stephanie mentioned they pick and choose who they're nice to. My daughter was a target. They finally agreed and admitted they didn't have the resources for her and in that matter you didn't for any of them! I was already looking for care else where. It was Laura that would be sweet and apologetic every time I had a concerned that extended our time their BUT WHEN IT CAME TO HER DAD SHE HAD A MILLION EXCUSES! SHE didn't know what a policy or parent handbook was. I GUESS AFTER RESEARCH she was able to gather what that was. She highlighted their policies on behavior but I guess forget to highlight where they can put their hands on students smh. As Stephanie mentioned when they don't like you they will put pressure on you. Thankfully we are out of there. I learned a few things myself to always go with my gut. I knew from the location to the language barrier of 95 percent of staff to the class room being so tight that it wasn't a fit BUT for convenience I still took my children! Now I found a daycare where you can get instant updates by phone of your child's day. Great location. Big facility. Friendly staff. Oh and it has a swimming pool. They follow the state ratio to child. Please do your research and really get a feel for this daycare they're not up to speed with other day cares. Don't let the friendly smiles fool you.
Nelly DMar 18, 2025A wonderful pre-k and day care that really cares about the kids and has a great group of teachers. I have no reservations recommending them to anyone. Our son thrived there.
Adam SchwittersNov 14, 2024Management and teachers here we very accommodating and helpful. When our toddler seemed bored and started having behavior issues, they spoke with us and we decided to move him up to the next age group and his behavior issues vanished. We liked that they offered a dinner meal since a lot of schools don’t. We left because we moved and this location was too far for us, but we had a nice experience with the teachers while our toddler attended.
Jessica FaubelAug 10, 2022Milestone Montessori Daycare is by far the best daycare that my 5-year old has ever attended. They provide amazing customer service and excellent communication with parents and children. Most importantly, they have helped my child to strive and learn new things everyday. Moreover, the employees are extremely professional, helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this daycare center to anyone looking to share the amazing experience described above. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am with all that they accommodate my family and I with! Big thanks to Laura, Ivan, Paola and the rest of the team for working with my daughter and I. 😊
Retanna NaizeAug 7, 2021milestone is by far the best daycare and child development center in albuquerque. the staff and teachers are all friendly and out going and always willing to help at anytime. the owner is extremely nice and treats everyone like family who comes into the daycare. if you are looking for a family owner daycare or child development center this is by far the best day care. the rates are low and you get the best service, the best service you will get in the city! if you are looking for a place for your kids to be happy, healthy, and grow educationally and confidently there is no place like milestone!
