My experience here with my son was not great. They had 35 one years old enlisted in the classroom and the teachers seemed extremely stretched thin. The classroom smelled ao badly of poop and there was almost nothing in the classroom. My son went a total od 4 or 5 times and got significantly sick every time he went there. The teachers were great despite being stretched so thin! When I disenrolled my son, the administrator never notified the teachers and they kept sending me updates on the class forever until I told them myself on three different occasions that we were no longer enrolled. The need for childcare is so significant and there is not enough space or staff here in my opinion. Also the tiny playground was always stuffed with kids when they got to go outside. Literally packed with toddlers everywhere with no room for them to actually run and play.
Larissa LuceJul 12, 2026My daughter is in the Early Pre-K class with Ms. Shantel and Ms. Laura and comes home every day excited to tell me what she did with her friends and what she learned from her teachers. We have had nothing but positive experiences with NMELA and all the teachers in her class. I would highly recommend NMELA.
Brett OblackJun 16, 2026Both our daughters attend NMELA and have for a while and we love it. They have so much fun, learn and the meals provided by Mr. Lamar are top notch. Ms. Shantel and Ms. Laura are next level teachers and we feel so lucky our daughters attend here!

The teachers are great with communication and never had any issues. All the staff are nice and quick to answer any questions or address concerns. Definitely recommend for the littles.

I highly recommend New Mexico Learning Academy to any family looking for a nurturing and high-quality educational experience. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could! The people who work there truly care about the students and their families, and it shows in everything they do.
