We are more than happy that we found this place. We've seen a fantastic improvement in our child's development. Miss Cindy builds a personal relationship with each student, provides parents with daily reports (complete with photos), and organizes wonderful activities like dancing and gymnastics. Thank you, Miss Cindy!
Oleg VinkovskyOct 6, 2025This is going to be long, but I think that (1) Miss Cindy’s contribution touches many aspects of my child’s growth, and (2) parents considering this preschool deserve to have as much information as possible about the program. - I was initially a little apprehensive about a home-based program, but I quickly realized that my daughter was completely comfortable in the cozy environment. It actually helped her come out of her shell faster than I expected. - My daughter joined Cindy’s program at age 2 and her academic skills took off immediately. She learned the tripod grasp within weeks, began to trace letters, and in a few months she was already writing her own name. - Cindy creates a very engaging environment, my daughter loves to attend the program and I have seen her interests expand tremendously. Seeing her enthusiasm for her teachers and friends there definitely helps with “Mom guilt” – this is one aspect where I don’t have to worry. - Miss Cindy genuinely cares for every child in her program and fosters very warm relationships between them. She helps them navigate those toddler/preschooler social situations – like what to do when someone takes your spot, or doesn’t want to play together today – while giving them the space needed to practice that guidance on their own. - My daughter adores Miss Kim and Miss Cindy and she speaks of them with love and says she misses them during school breaks. I take this as a sign that my daughter is truly cared for by her teachers and that they are not just skilled, but genuinely emotionally invested. Children pick up on these things. - Cindy remains open during some school breaks and public holidays. This is a major plus for us. - She organizes lots of field trips and a variety of regular activities for the children. A music teacher visits weekly, and Cindy takes them to ballet during the school year and gymnastics in the summer. I wouldn’t have the time to fit all this into weekends, so I really appreciate that my daughter gets these experiences. - I notice my daughter teaching me new things with respect to emotional growth – she shows me breathing exercises when we both start to get a little irritated with each other, and sometimes she is able to tell me that she just needs some space when she is upset. She can calm herself down and then let me know that she’s feeling better. For a 3 year old this pretty incredible and I credit Miss Cindy with this achievement. - I have witnessed the lasting connection Miss Cindy has with past students and families. Younger siblings often follow their older ones into her program, past students attend her after school tutoring, and older alumni help with the summer camp programs. This is another sign of a strong bond rooted in genuine emotional investment on Miss Cindy’s part. - Most importantly, when a child spends this many hours each week with a teacher, it is inevitable that the child will pick up on their values and habits. I feel very lucky that Miss Cindy is that influence in daughter’s life. She teaches her kindness, self-awareness, boundaries and independence – and it seems to stick!
Kate VOct 5, 2025If you are looking for before/after care or a preschool for your kiddo? Look no further than A Playce 2 Learn . My daughter started going there in 2022( 2 years old) barely speaking, after a few months she was speaking sentences. A PLAYce 2 Learn has given my child an incredible experience. She is super loving and you can tell she puts so much time and effort into the kiddos. Hands down the best place! We now do before and after care with her. So sad that my daughter is old enough for kindergarten because I would have kept her there. Cindy has been a gem to our lives ❤️
Kayla SapienzaSep 24, 2025My son attended 2 years of preschool program and is currently in his third year of the afterschool program. Cindy is an excellent educator and loves the kids. She cares about their progress and well being and caters to them individually. My son loves going there because he feels like he is with family. Kids enjoy a great balance of academic instruction, with didactic games and activities, as well creative learning and leisure time, while learning discipline, manners, social interactions and formal class instruction. I wish I had found this program sooner, would not have taken my kid anywhere else.
Sylvia Bedford-GuausAug 31, 2025A Playce 2 Learn is a second home to my two little ones (ages 6 and 9) They’ve open their doors to us not just as an after school care or summer program but as part of their family. I couldn’t ask for a warmer and more nurturing environment for my kids. Mrs Cindy, Mrs Kim and the counselors are patient, understanding and caring for the children. You can always feel that your kids are in a safe space. My kids have become social butterflies and have learned so much throughout their years at AP2L. If anyone is interested in having their kids part of a great program, look no further. This is the place for your kiddos!
Jennifer RoperDec 9, 2024My son joined A PLAYce 2 Learn for their Summer program. I had done a ton of research on a variety of camps in the area before enrolling him as I wanted him to learn as well as play during the summer. When I first met Cindy, she was very thorough on what their days consist of and all of the learning and activities that they would do. I loved having the app during the time there to be able to not just interact but see what my son was up to. I also loved the opportunity to do activities outside of the camp which included horseback riding, pottery painting, a trip to Funmax and many other places. My son enjoyed being with the other children and loved the teachers. I would highly recommend sending your child here for their summer.
