Is Alternatives for Children a licensed child care provider in New York?
- Yes. Alternatives for Children holds New York registration 139887, listed as "PENDING REVOCATION" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on January 5, 2024 and current through January 4, 2028. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.

Which school district is Alternatives for Children in?
- Alternatives for Children sits in the Three Village school district, in Suffolk County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.
Does this page show inspection results for Alternatives for Children?
- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Alternatives for Children's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
